Ship: Carnival Freedom | Sail Date: 08/26/2007 | Destination: Europe

After hearing negative things about a NEW ship - I was a bit leary about booking this. However, being a new ship and a great deal we were getting on a balcony cabin - I decided to book it. I have yet to regret our decision. The cabin was fantastic - actually really big - the extended balcony was a plus - the food - especially the Stir Fry section was DELICIOUS! - The STAFF super friendly - our Cabin Steward - MARVELOUS - and the PORTS were FANTASTIC - I got hooked on Europe - will return with Carnival without hesitation on these type of cruises - More adult oriented - though there were kids - barely saw them. The Movies under the Sun theatre was Great! They supplied blankets and you could buy popcorn. The tours they offered were a bit pricey but worth it. Being new to Europe was careful not to wander on our own - but there was nothing to fear - However, wise in doing some of the tours directly with Carnival - Also did the Transfers and glad we did - The entertainment - lounges - deli (try the turkey wrap and ask them to heat it - fantasitc :) -0 All in all - GREAT - Loved John the Director who's a bit crazy and hilarious :) Feel free to email me with any q's on tours - etc...
