    Carnival's Unscrupulous Marketing

Ship: Carnival Triumph | Sail Date: 06/21/07 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

I registered with carnival.com and we're been receiving various forms of SPAM regularly ever since. We get regular UNSOLICITED PHONE CALLS from companies claiming that we've won travel packages, UNREQUESTED MAGAZINES from Carnival and several UNSOLICITED EMAIL EVERY WEEK from Carnival, Princess and Holland America. I have: (1) deleted my account registration from carnival.com (2) emailed the carnival.com webmaster asking that all marketing stop (3) used the "unsubscribe" feature attached to the spam (4) used the "contact us" feature on carnival.com to request to be removed from all contact lists. None of these methods have worked, no one has contacted me regarding any of these requests and the spam continues. The lesson: DO NOT REGISTER FOR ANYTHING ON THE CARNIVAL.COM WEBSITE and seriously reconsider your interest in travelling with a company with such unscrupulous marketing tactics.
