Ship: Carnival Glory | Sail Date: 11/08/2008 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean
My only complaint about this cruise are the activities of debarkation day. First I would suggest to everyone. FILL OUT THE BLUE ZONE TAG WITH ALL INFORMATION BEFORE GIVING UP YOUR LUGGAGE!! One of our party members refused to fill it out and ended up with lost luggage that was returned to her 2 weeks later with missing items.
My biggest complaint is this......It seems every day on the ship was fabulous!!! However on the last day we were all RUSHED off the ship in herds according to Zone numbers, I felt Carnival could not WAIT to get rid of us so they could get the next group of cruisers on board. When it was realized we had lost a piece of luggage we returned to the ship, within an hour of debarking, to inquire and ended up walking away with NO HELP whatsoever. We were told our lost luggage was on its way to Miami and then treated very rudely by staff when we inquired about filling out paperwork for the lost luggage, It seemed that since we had already been on the ship and spent loads of money, CARNIVAL was done with us and we were not near as important as those who were waiting to board the ship for the next cruise. So th e moral of this story is...be prepared to be treated like cattle on the last day, lock your luggage, and fill out the Zone Tags with complete information.
