Ship: Fantasy | Sail Date: 11/24/2008 | Destination: Caribbean
We just came back from our 1st time Cruise and loved it. There are a few things that I would like to express some concern about. First, it was Thanksgiving week and there were over 800 Children aboard the ship. The entertainment could have been a bit more classy. I didn't like seeing the butts of the dancers, to me this is not classy at all and a bit offensive and no reason for it. This wasn't the late night entertainment either, I sure didn't attend those late night shows...I hate to see what they consisted of. Some of the humor that was used was a little risky too. I think the crew should be a little more family oriented. My husband & I traveled by ourselves and didn't care for the butt showing and the senseless adult humor. When we first entered the ship one of the male dancers that greeted us hit on my husband....not good at all! Also, what about some Christmas shows are musicals during this time of the year? We have been to many shows in different states and most shows consist of some patriotism and there was no tribute to the USA.
Now for a suggestion, it would be nice if Carnival would set up a picture package containing like 5- 8X10 photos of your choice for a set price not $20 per 8x10, come on. Also, a pkg for all of the port pictures like so many for a set price. I know you guys are trying to make some money and you probably do good, but I think you would do much better with mixed pkgs. After all photo paper doesn't cost that much....look how much you are wasting from all the pictures that are thrown away...whew!
