    Three Star [3*] Holiday

Ship: Holiday | Sail Date: 11/3/2008 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

The Holiday is an older & smaller ship than I had every been on. It was nice, but the hot water stained the wash rags brown. When we went to bed at night it felt like we were in a massage bed. It moved all night long. I thinK they had a bad mechical something or other. All in all it was a good cruise. The port in Calica was a joke. It was a industrial port. I don't know why Carnival would use that port. The taxi ride cost 26.00 round trip to get into Playa Del Carman. We were not told that the shops didn't open until 11:00, so We ended up with about 2 1/2 hours to kill. I will cruise with Carnival again, just not on a smaller ship. Nor will I go back to Calica.
