Ship: Elation | Sail Date: 10/09/2008 | Destination: Mexico

What an awful experience. We were supposed to be cruising to Cabo, not happening because of a hurricane so wewere re-routed to Ensenada and Catalina. Catalina didn't happen...we don't know why. We were ready to get off of the ship at 8:00, at 8:30 we were told they couldn't let us off. We cruised for 3 days, took 6 hours in ensnada and went home. This is a cruise that was definately a step down from the one that we purchased, no compensation was offered. We complained at least 4 times to the purser and she stated she could not do anything and we had to wait until we got off of the ship. Mind you we were a group of 26 with 2 travel agents. Carnival customer service sucks and they really don't care what happens after they have their money. The gaurantee is a joke because we only had one opportunity to leave the ship and that was the day before our cruise was over. I cannot beleive that I paid money to get on a giant boat to drive in circles for 5 days let alone at least 20 percent of the time the boat didn;t move...can you say sea sick. I have many more complaints................Bottom line carnival SUCKS!
