    Horrible Spa Experience

Ship: Paradise | Sail Date: 10/03/08 | Destination: > Baja Mexico

I want to start out by saying that I really do not ever complain but I am just so dissapointed in my Spa experience on the cruise that I just kick myself over and over again. I booked a massage and manicure even after I was warned by many to just get a massage in Ensenada. I was so excited and when I arrived I realized that what I was paying for was one sales pitch after another (it was as bad as being at a Timeshare seminar). I advised the massage therapist that I was not interested in purchasing product and it was downhill from there. She let me know everything that was wrong with my body. (Exactly what I needed after having a recent hysterectomy and just feeling so great about myself). Then the manicure was even better 7 products I had to hear about and the lady over and over again advised me that I needed this oil for Menstraul Cramps. It took everything I had to not yell "Don't have that issue anymore." Needless to say I left in tears, met my friends in the room and they tried to make me feel better with the drink of the day. I called and complained and they told me they would like me to go back Yeah right as if I didn't feel terrible enough and go back for some more abuse. NO Thanks! Needless to say that pretty much was what I remember of the trip because I blew aprox. $200 to have someone make me feel terrible and tell me I need tons of product. So DO NOT GO TO THE SPA, it is not a spa instead of my massage therapist returning to the room after the massage with water, she brought all of the product I need to fix all of my faults she noticed while massaging me. Thanks Carnival Spa...for nothing!
