Carnival Cruise did not honor Vacation Guarantee

I recently sailed on the Sensation the week-end of 9/4/08 and Carnival did not honor the Vacation Guarantee. They set sail for the Bahamas already knowing we were not going to Nassau and announced it 10 minutes or so into the cruise. Over half of the people on board were extremely upset beca

Weekend getaway

Just wanted to drop a line for anyone looking for a great weekend getaway in Nassau. Loved just docking in one location and getting to know that place. Used the public bus transportation for a $1.00, saved mega money not taking a taxi. Locals told us to check out Goodman's Bay down by Breeze

Why is freeport even a destination on the cruise. It was horrilby run down and depressing. I was very unhappy with the whole carnival cruise experience. I will NEVER sail with Carnival again. Rude staff, bad food, way too pricy drinks, old ships...yuck...you've lost a customer here!!!

First port of call Freeport Bahamas. All I can say is BOOK A SHORE EXCURSION. 10-15 minute ride to the Main area. Walked around in about 20 minutes not much else to see, all the shops have all the same stuff. Was Majorly disappointed, However the beach was pretty nice

This trip was one of the best vacations that I have ever had. Being a frequent traveler, this was my first cruise and it was the best. Freeport and Nassau was a picture perfect trip with so much to do. I would recommend everyone to go on the wave runners in Freeport and experience the ocean.

grand turk and half moon cay are so small the only thing to do involves water beach and/or partying. nassau a little bigger. if you want to do things out of the water, DO NOT take this cruise. the staff did their jobs, but I would not even rate them in the same league as the prides staff. th
