Start Planning!

My best friend and I decided we needed to take a cruise to celebrate our college graduation. We made the perfect decision! Our cruise to Cozumel and Calica, Mexico aboard the beautiful Carnival Sensation was amazing. There were lots of things for us two single girls to do. We sunbathed and hit the spa by day and watched shows and danced the night away! We are currently looking into our next destination on Carnival Cruiselines. Thanks for a great time Carnival! - Gina & Wendi

11 year old loved

Ship: Fascination | Sail Date: 08/12/2005 | Destination: Bahamas

Initially, I chose this cruise because of the value. For all of the amenities the price seemed great. But, I was concerned about taking my 11 year old on a cruise line I had always associated with the singles scene. I wasn't sure there would be enough to keep him entertained. Once onboard, I was pleased to find a variety of activities available for children of all age groups; toddlers to teens. Scott played miniature golf, ping pong, and arcade games. There were also group activities organized by the Cruise Director, games and dances. I was relieved to find that there were lots of other kids on the cruise. I didn't have to be Scott's sole means of entertainment. I found myself alone, but not for long. Guess what! I made new friends, and actually had a chance to relax and enjoy MY vacation, too. Thanks, Carnival! I'll see you next summer.

This was my first cruise, and I had a wonderful time

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 08/24/2005 | Destination: Alaska

This was my first cruise and I had a wonderful time. Being a single lady, the waiters made me feel like a queen--loved every minute--in fact two of the cocktail waiters, Jimi and Jonathan, were extra special. I am 64, but act a lot younger. I felt the ship did lack late night activities--my roommate and I wandered the ship looking for something to do. Being from Las Vegas, I guess we are a bit jaded. I expected the food to be a bit better from all I have heard about cruise ships. All in all, it was a great time and I'd go agan in a heartbeat. I'd send a picture or two, but don't have the slightest idea how to do it--we got some GREAT ones aboard ship. Thank you.

Group, single, great cruise

Ship: Ecstasy | Sail Date: 08/22/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

Great cruise. I was with a group of 7 single women. We had a great time. All the activities on the cruise were fun and relaxing. We ate in the dining room each night and enjoyed the food and service that we received. Even though there weren't alot of activities for single people - we enjoyed meeting lots of other people on the cruise. It was one of the best vacations that I have ever taken.

Much Needed Get-Away

Ship: Sensation | Sail Date: 8/15/05 or the week of? | Destination: Western Caribbean

I chose to take a much needed get-away after the passing of a very close family member (my dog). I debated on several travel destinations, but I had always heard positive recommendations about cruises. Well, I found a 5 night cruise to the Western Caribbean. The price was WELL below my wildest expectations, especially considering I am a single traveler. Prior to boarding the ship in New Orleans, I began to have doubts about traveling alone. Would I be bored? Would I meet any interesting people? Would I feel isolated on this ship? Would I this and Would I that? Well, immediately after boarding this Mammoth ship, or city as I would rather call it, the week long party began. I may be biased, as I have never travelled aboard another cruise line before. However, I dont see how any other cruise line could have topped the experience I had. The activities, ports of call, staff, the pampering, and I wont even begin to talk about the food. The food would be a chapter all it's own. Ever aspect recieves 5+/5 stars. Carnival should rename their cruise line to 'The World's Greatest, Most Relaxing, Most Entertaining, No Regrets, Best Bang For Your Buck Cruise Lines'.

I had as much fun as my kids

Ship: Conquest | Sail Date: August 21, 2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

As an experience traveler and single mom, I have stayed in top resorts; there is no experience better than going on a cruise with children. It was the first time for all of us and for the first time, I had just as much fun as my 2 children. Between the Lido Deck and Camp Carnival; I had nothing to worry about when it came to activities and where to find them. The daytime entertain was such a great experience as well as the excitement of going to diner all dressed up! I am happy I finally went on a cruise. Can't wait to plan my 2006 Cruise! ! !
