Start Planning!

This was our very first cruise. Carnival has definitely 'hooked' me as a customer! We LOVED Stuart, our cruise director. He was always so upbeat and witty. The shows were fabulous. The ship was amazing! The food was unbelievable, and the shore excursions were so very much fun! It was so hard for us to choose which to take. There was a bit of a 'delay' with Hurricane Katrina and we were rerouted to Galveston. Since we had booked our airfare through Carnival, our flights were quickly re-booked through Houston, thanks to the hardworking staff. Well handled! We have nothing bad to say about the cruise. It was awesome!

We so enjoyed our time on the Elation

Ship: Elation | Sail Date: 08/21/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

The entire staff was expremely friendly and lots of fun. They were very accommodating to our young granddaughter and also to our every need. The time on board was very peaceful, fun and everything was very clean and fresh. The food was more than delicious and always well presented. Not one of us could think of anything that was not at our very fingertips. We took advantage of the spa and all four of us enjoyed our time with that staff also. Each night we attended the show in the Mikado and enjoyed each and every performance. The onboard performers were very amazing and each show was better than the day prior. Your entire staff from the embarkation to the debarkation was handled efficiently and with a smile. I can speak for my daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, husband and myself that we will definitely cruise with Carnival again. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing time aboard. Sincerely, Lori Marvin

The most wonderful vacation

Ship: Imagination | Sail Date: 08/11/05 | Destination: Mexico

In anticipation of our Carnival cruise on the Imagination in August of 2005, my husband, Fletcher, and I reminiscently spoke of the most wonderful vacation we had ever taken before. Several years before, was our first experience sailing with Carnival Cruise Lines on the ship, Fascination. Being that we were now celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary, we knew this was definately the way to do it! Our number one reason for selecting Carnival was the cost effectiveness that was afforded us. In planning the arrangements for our vacation, we appreciated the fact that for one low cost, we could enjoy being pampered in so many ways! The cozy cabins were tidily kept and delicious meals were served in elegant formal dining rooms by the most courteous of waiters. Eye catching, mouth watering buffets were set up around the clock and entertainment and, spa services were there to be enjoyed at any time. Of course, the highlight of this fantasy was the exciting on-shore destinations and excursions which took us to places we dream of revisiting. Surely, this was an experience which satisfied our need for total relaxation and enjoyment!

We had so much fun on the cruise

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 8/21/2005 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

We had so much fun on the cruise. We kept eating and eating. Foods are very good. I also had great experience at the spa. Hair stylist there was awesome! The massage that I had was the best ever.

The best way to travel

Ship: Celebration | Sail Date: 08/22/2005 | Destination: Bahamas

A Carnival cruise, there is not a better way to travel. This past cruise was my 4th cruise in the last 2 years. Carnival is really the way to Sail. Everything from the moment you walk in, to the atmosphere of the beautiful ships appearance, the friendly and hard working crew, the entertainment, relaxation spots, activities that are going on throughout the day, excursion destinations, the tasty neverending food, party's, auctions, casino's, spa, and treasurable memories makes me want to go on a Carnival boat every second of the day. This past cruise that my friends and I took happened to be the timing that hurricane Katrina was in the ocean. Carnival however made us feel at ease and took care of us completly. Carnival goes above and beyond and I will be a forever dedicated Carnival traveler. Carnival really makes you feel like it's your time to relaxe and have a good time. I can't wait to plan my next Carnival cruise and hope you do too!

Had a great time…

Ship: Paradise | Sail Date: 08/15/2005 | Destination: Mexico

I couldn't believe how clean they kept the ship. The cabin was a good size even tho' we had to keep on asking for pool towels and the room wasn't always made up before we returned in the afternoon. The food was great and they had plenty of activities. I went to the spa and thought it a bit of a rip off when they try and sell you an after-treatment course that cost twice as much as my cruise package! Besides all of that, I would highly recommend a Carnival Cruise.

I was very satisfied

Ship: Truimph | Sail Date: 08/22/2005 | Destination: Canada / New England

My cruise on the Carnival Triumph was great! It was my first time on Carnival, and I was very satisfied with the experience. The ship was bigger, way bigger, than what I was familiar with. With all the extra room, there were lots of extra facilities to try out: I came out of the sauna and slid down a terrific water slide. My stateroom was also a bit larger than I expected, and the attendant kept me laughing when she left a differemt animal every day made out of towels she had tied together. The dining experience was fun, and the food and service was always good. Disembarking in port was very smooth, and really quite fast for such a big load of passengers. My girlfriend liked it better than our first trip together on a different cruise line.

Had a great time…

The food was horrendous.  Neither the hot food was served hot nor the cold food was served cold.  Everything was lukewarm.  The dining rooms were overcrowded, the buffet food was tasteless and uninspired.  The pizzaria and the Hong Kong Noodle Factory offfered the only palatable food served at a proper temperature the entire voyage.  Room service was a joke.  We ordered hot chocolate and received a carafe of warm water and two envelopes of powdered mix.    Cuisine?  Hardly.  Sustenence?  Barely.
