Start Planning!

This was our very first cruise. Carnival has definitely 'hooked' me as a customer! We LOVED Stuart, our cruise director. He was always so upbeat and witty. The shows were fabulous. The ship was amazing! The food was unbelievable, and the shore excursions were so very much fun! It was so hard for us to choose which to take. There was a bit of a 'delay' with Hurricane Katrina and we were rerouted to Galveston. Since we had booked our airfare through Carnival, our flights were quickly re-booked through Houston, thanks to the hardworking staff. Well handled! We have nothing bad to say about the cruise. It was awesome!

massage and Spa Treatments

Hello

My husband and I are about to take our first cruise on December 8th on the Inspiration.  YAHOO :)  I would like to make an appointment for a massage or a couples massage while on board.  I know that once you are on board you can make a reservation -first come first serve.  But is there a way to book ahead of time...like something from the Carnival gifts and services menu?  Many other cruise lines offer this service but I can't find it here :(  Am I looking in the right place?

Looking foward to relaxing :)

We were so impressed on the wonderful treatment we received!

Ship: Fascination | Sail Date: 08/19/05 | Destination: Bahamas

This was our first cruise and we were so impressed on the wonderful treatment we received! We felt like royalty the entire cruise! From the food to the entertainment or just lounging around pool side....you didn't have to lift a finger....just ask! We will definately be on another cruise in the future. What a wonderful way to see the world and experience it in such an awesome way! The hospitality of the Carnival staff was beyond our greatest expectations. Thank you for the time of our lives!

The royal treatment

Ship: Miracle | Sail Date: 08/22/05 | Destination: Western Caribbean

People have been telling me for years to go on a cruise and I finally listened. I cannot begin to express the great time I had especially the royal treatment I received from the crew. I have never met a Maitre 'D like 'Stipe' in the main dining room, and the friendliness and courtesy of his staff reflects his personality. I would like to thank him for making our 10th anniversary cruise a most enjoyable experience. I would also like to thank our servers 'Imade' from Indonesia and 'Simona' from the Czech Republic who are now a permanent part of my family. We hugged and cried on our final night together and that was truly special. I think of them all the time and hope they're all doing well. Exceptional, truly exceptional service from Carnival and it's crew. I can't wait for next year and my next cruise......

Very nice ships

Ship: Conquest | Sail Date: 08/14/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

This was our first cruise and we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. The ship was VERY nice, as was our suite with balcony. I was concerned about getting seasick, but could not even tell we were on a ship. There is plenty to do at all times. I enjoyed the 'sea days' as much as the port days. The food was excellent, along with the entertainment and shopping on board the ship. I did not get rich in the casino, but still had a good time. The atmosphere was one of everone having a good time. Our wait staff were exceptional. We do plan on taking another crusie. I was spoiled with the VIP treatment Skipper's Club, and definately think that is the way to go....NO LONG LINES HERE!

I had a wonderful time!

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/14/05 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

This was my first cruise and I have to say I had a wonderful time! My room was excellent and I especially enjoyed having the balcony. It particularly helped me, as I was slightly worried about getting sea sick. The spa treatments were a very relaxing change of pace. I was also surprised that the gym was so well-equipped! The food was excellent and there were actually a few choices for me, this is remarkable especially since I am a vegetarian! One day when there was a Japanese-themed meal, there was even tofu! The shore excursions were great...there was something for everyone. I particularly wanted to be very active in my excursions..it was nice to be able to relax on deck and get a massage, and go to the island and horseback ride, snorkel, or speedboat! I loved the variety. I was even able to participate onstage in the Palladium in a show and received complimentary champagne and a medal! I had an excellent time and will certainly look to your company for further vacations! Also, one suggestion, please try to have more vegetarian protein sources available:-. The veggie burgers and occasional tofu was greatly appreciated, though.

Just wonderful

Ship: Holiday | Sail Date: 08/25/2005 | Destination: Mexico

My wife and I embarked on this cruise several days before Katrina hit land. Katrina hit the port of Mobile, where our car was parked, and the port was then closed. Carnival handled the whole thing wonderfully. We recieved excellent treatment through our extended stay on the ship, and Carnival even helped us with our transportation back home.

I had such a fabulous time

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 08/21/2005 | Destination: Mexico

This was my first cruise, and I had such an fabulous time. I cruised with my parents and my younger brother. There were so many things in store for me and I had no idea what to expect. There were countless activities to do while at sea, such as listening to a nice jazz band, see a Broadway-like show, swimming, getting a luxurious spa treatment, or even playing 'dress-up' and attending the captains cocktail party and dinner. Oh..and the food?? Spectacular!! Gourmet food around the clock..the buffets werent like the average buffet you can go to anywhere..there is real love that is prepared in every dish. The dining hall, even better. Gourmet dishes that you would only find in finer restaurants around the globe. I cant begin to list the many selections and combinations to choose from. So many things to do at all hours, It was never dull at any time..I will definiely return on the Carnival Cruise Line, maybe the Mexican Riveria destination like I did this time, or maybe cruise the Carribean. Unfortunatly my husband could'nt make it this time around, but after he heard my testimony of all the great things I got to experience aboard, he is sure to accompany me the next time around.

Very Restricted Diet

Ship: Valor | Sail Date: 08/12/2005 | Destination: Europe

I have a very restricted diet requirement and I must say I was waited on with great pampering during the entire cruise. All of the dining staff treatment was outstanding and we thanked them with words and a nice tip. My wife had a need for a refrigerator as she has a bad back and again, the cabin staff met her every need. Of course we had all of the super service with the towell animals and mints. The Cruise Director was a blast and he made attending many of the onboard events well worth attending. Keep him! We enjoyed the shore excursions very much and are thinking about doing the same cruise again as soon as we save up for it.

Oh My God!!!

Ship: Fascination | Sail Date: August 12 2005 | Destination: Bahamas

Oh my god!! What an experience, I had an absolute fantastic time everything from the food, the entertainment, the service, you cannot beat it, it was the perfect holiday. I really enjoyed the whole experience and plan to do it all again early next year. Just to let you know I thought the band AZIZ that played were absolutely fantastic, I am planning another cruise on the same ship and hope they will be playing again, can you give me the dates of when they will be on the ship again. The whole cruise was truly the best experience I had ever had, the memories will be with me forever. How do I find out about employment on the carnival cruise ships, I am a Massage therapist and would be very interested to work on the cruise ships, who can I speak to about this. Many thanks

Great casinos

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 08/10/2005 | Destination: Alaska

During our cruise, especially travelling with bunch of Senior Citizens, it helped a lot having the slot casino on board, because that's their means of relaxing after the entertainment and dinner. The band was good and the services are totally esclusive, especially since we joined the Carnival Cruise Club membership, we had the royal treatment (strawberry chocolate delivered to our room) and exclusive cocktail reception with the director and other members with unlimited cocktails and delicious food. Our tour was great and educational.

Our Alaskan adventure

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 8/24/2005 | Destination: Alaska

We have been on many Carnival Cruises over the years and our Alaskan adventure was by far the best. The scenery we enjoyed was absolutely breathtaking. The addition of an on board naturalist was a bonus that really enabled us to get the most out of this most unique destination. Everything 'cooperated' with our cruise from exceptional boarding ease to the weather that was perfect for the time of year. The pampered treatment at meals was as always most welcomed. Carnival has always managed to give us the most value for the money as well as a fantastic vacation that we will definately repeat.
