Start Planning!

Our "Funship" cruise redefined a family reunion. My little brother came home from serving a year in South Korea and we thought of no better way to celebrate with a cruise. A week on the Conquest let everyone see and spend quality time with him that would have taken a month to do at home. And while doing that we enjoyed great food, activities, and shore excursions. I can think of no better way of spending time with family than on a "Funship". We will be "Crusin' with Stefan" as soon as he returns from his current deployment in Iraq (A little saying we had put on buttons and wore while boarding the ship). Thanks for a spectacular time. - Jason Reiner

Dining

Ship: Carnival Triumph | Sail Date: 09/19/2009 | Destination: Canada/New England

A huge disappointment. I've never been on a cruise that repeated meals. The dinner fare was very good. The lunch and breakfast was bland, not appetizing, and cold. This was my fifth cruise and second on Carnival. Probably my last.

Experienced cruiser

Ship: Sensation | Sail Date: 08/30/09 | Destination: Bahamas

This was our 10th cruise but first time on a Carnival ship, and we were disapointed with the food. Other than the "elegant" evening dinner (which had lobster tail and prime rib), we felt the food selections were mediocre at best. That included the dining room and the buffet. At dinner, some

Food on Board the Ship

Ship: Fascination | Sail Date: 8/22/09 | Destination: Bahamas

THe food in the dinning room was great! THe food on the buffet - not so great. Everyday they had the same thing - hamburger, chicken tenders, and hotdog. I could eat that at home. We did eat the Pizzaria a lot as well as the sandwich bar. Those were great for snacks in the afternoon. THe

Food = Diarrhea & Vomitting

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 08/06/09 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

Let me start by saying the crew and staff were very nice. Food on the Carnival Destiny, was poor… My husband got sick from the food on the cruise! Not only was he violently ill, we were inconvenienced, and all our relaxation from previous days were negated. We also feel we lost the last two

Charged for Soda!

Ship: Inspiration | Sail Date: 08/24/09 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

Food was decent, desserts were outstanding but was chaged well over $6 per day for soda! So much for all inclusive!

Ship: Carnival Splendor | Sail Date: 06/14/09 | Destination: Canada

It was our first time cruise and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food overall. We also had dinner at the supper club (Pinnacle) and the meal/ service were both wonderful. If you like Boulevards or Faralon in San Francisco or the Ritz Carlton for your meals, this was quite

The Buffet!

Ship: Inspiration | Sail Date: 11/16/07 | Destination: Mexico

I absulutely loved my cruise 2 years ago, It was my first. The first thing I went to was the buffet to have lunch. I never suspected they would have small rotticery chickens there, alog with many other sides, barbequed stuff. and the many MANY desserts! I'm telling you, if you do what me and

exceptional staff service

Ship: Carnival Liberty | Sail Date: 03/28/09 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

the service we received from the staff on carnival liberty was beyond anything we expected. cabin stewards were always close by and available to offer assistance for anything we needed.  Bar and pool staff knew our  names and preferances by about the third day of the cruise.

Mexican rivera cruise

Ship: Carnival Splendor | Sail Date: 04/12/09 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

The ship was very nice and the ports of call were fantastic. Room service and stewards were exceptional. The shows were great. We liked the size of our stateroom. The overall cruise experience was enjoyable the only concern by us and other passengers was the quality of the food was poor. Foo

Estacy First dinning

Ship: Sensation | Sail Date: 03/26/09 | Destination: Bahamas

I have to say Kudos to our wait staff. My husband and I sat at table 371 during the first seating in the Estacy. Unfortunately I do not know how to spell our waiter's name but he was awesome. His assistant Miles was also great. They each ensured that we were satisfied actually more than

Good but not fantastic

Ship: Imagination | Sail Date: 03/09/09 | Destination: Caribbean

The food was good and there was a lot of it. Some things were very good, but the dishes that required extra skill and freshness were disappointing.

Nuke the Buffet and start over

Ship: Imagination | Sail Date: 01/26/09 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

Not impressed with the buffet. First, it was no better than a local eatery here in the Salt Lake area called Chuck-O-Rama. Name should say enough. Nothing special about the buffet. Even if I did not mind being 40th in line at the buffet, by the time it came to finding a table, I would ha

Total Dining Disappointment

Ship: Paradise | Sail Date: 08/08/08 | Destination: > Baja Mexico

This was my first cruise, and I have to say that I was completely disappointed with my over all dining experience on the ship. They weren't able to accommodate our preferred dining time, so we were given a really early seating which interferred with our onboard activities. On our first nig

Food was Horrible

Ship: Elation | Sail Date: 07/03/08 | Destination: > Baja Mexico

I just got back from the San Diego/Cabo San Lucas/San Diego trip with my husband for our anniversary. I have sailed on Carnival once before about 15 years ago and most recently on Royal Caribbean 4 years ago. The food and main dining service on this trip was nothing short of horrible. Breakf
