Start Planning!

Our "Funship" cruise redefined a family reunion. My little brother came home from serving a year in South Korea and we thought of no better way to celebrate with a cruise. A week on the Conquest let everyone see and spend quality time with him that would have taken a month to do at home. And while doing that we enjoyed great food, activities, and shore excursions. I can think of no better way of spending time with family than on a "Funship". We will be "Crusin' with Stefan" as soon as he returns from his current deployment in Iraq (A little saying we had put on buttons and wore while boarding the ship). Thanks for a spectacular time. - Jason Reiner

Dining Room and Staff Experience

Ship: Carnival Splendor | Sail Date: 07/18/08 | Destination: Europe

We have cruised Carnival 3 times before and have had had a wonderful time. To say that the "Splendor" was a "Fun Ship" is a gross misinterpretation. We had problems the entire cruise with COLD FOOD! We asked the waiter - Andy - all week why the food was cold and his reply was "it's not my

The food needs improvement

Ship: Carnival Victory | Sail Date: 02/10/08 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

I must say if you think the food is acceptable on this cruiseline then you are out of your mind. If you like chocolate melting cake or maybe a salad (not ceasar, they taste fishy) then you might be happy. I've sailed on Carnival so many times and i dont understand why they still serve the

Not the best

Ship: Carnival Miracle | Sail Date: 11/23/07 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

Our waitress' English skills weren't very good, and her people skills needed some tweaking. She was easily irritated and abrupt with the assistant waitress (who was nervous, sad and one night in tears, as a result). This was the first time that I didn't have praises for my wait staff. Also,

Jeanne/Food served in the main dining hall-Jubilee

Ship: Fantasy | Sail Date: 11/03/07 | Destination: Mexico

The food in the main dining hall was marginal. Both my sister and I were disappointed because we took this cruise in celebration of our birthdays. Both of our birthdays took place while on the ship. The service was EXCELLENT. However, the baked alaska was served cold and the seafood newburg

Ship: Carnival Spirit | Sail Date: 02/27/07 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

This is our third cruise on Carnival, and there were almost no surprises. It was a great trip, with one small caveat. Although I expect fair markups on wine and bar drinks, I did think some of them were a bit much. If the ship can't offer an 'all-inclusive' ticket like many resorts do now, t

Trip of a life time

Ship: Carnival Miracle | Sail Date: 12/10/06 | Destination: Caribbean

This was our first cruise, and of course we were a little anxious. I have never felt so relaxed in a very long time. From the beginning to the end, was total dream land. We have late dining and our server was the best(Rodica). She was a joy to have serve you. Her personality is just right. O

Not a total choice...

Ship: Carnival Glory | Sail Date: 11/25/2006 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean

My 24 year old daughter and I went on this 7 day cruise as a last escape before she gives birth. We requested an early dinner as she gets tired and hungry a little earlier these days. We were not given our choice. Instead we were assigned to the late seating. We went to the place to change

Awesome Waiters

Just came back from our Legend cruise 1/27/08.  We had awesome waiters, Yuda and Iketut.  The first 2 evenings we asked for lemon for our ice water and thereafter when we arrived at the dinner table there was a plate of sliced lemons awaiting us.  They were both professional yet fun.  We enjoyed the nightly 'show time' the wait staff performed.  We even joined in and danced and sang with our waiters.  We will really miss them...they definately exceeded my expectations (as well as the food...yum yum)!

Great Waiter

On our July 8 cruise on the Legend, Roberto was a great waiter! He was the first waiter in years to learn our names, stick around to talk with us, and he looked like he genuinely enjoyed serving us. When we'd see him up on deck during the day, he'd stop and chat with us. I really liked that. At dinner time, he'd know exactly what we'd want. He knew I like the cold soups, so every time I'd order he'd already know what I was getting for an appetizer. One night, someone from our party was sick and didn't eat. Roberto really seemed concerned and wished her the best. That was really nice.

For anyone who is lucky enough to get Roberto as a waiter, you're in for a treat! For the Carnival staff who read this, it would be appreciated if you could pass the word along! Roberto is a top-notch waiter.
