1st cruise ever

We have never been on a cruise and wasn't sure we wanted too but when our friends talked us into it. It was the best vacation ever. Half Moon Cay was the best. I could live there.And our waiter Joel was unforgetable. He was awsome.I give Carnival 5 stars. We'll be back thats for sure.

Not a good experience

Unfortunately we were in a cabin directly above the band in the casino. They played as late as 1:30am. We asked to be moved, but the ship was full. We asked that the band turn down the volume, but customer relations could/would not do that. Finally, we were told that only "old" people co

Shore Excursions

The ship took us to 3 ports, Cozumul,Costa Rico, Panama...the worse ever! They were shipping ports not intended for a cruise ship. No where to walk (that was safe), no shopping area's, etc. Never again, Carnival!

Truly a funship

We had a wonderful time on the Liberty. The food and service were excellent, the activities plentiful.
The kids really loved the 24 hr. pizza and ice cream. No surprise. The crew were so pleasant and we felt so comfortable and at ease. We all had an excellent time.

Just got back from Cruise

Had an awesome time, the staff were great, the food was excellent.. The cruise director was on top of everything, I dont know if she slept... Was very happy with everything.. The lines for food during breakfast and lunch were a bit long, but other then that had a great trip.

Carnival Fascination

What a great 5 night cruise we had to Key West and the Bahamas ! We went with a group of 14 which included 5 kids. We all had a great time. My youngest age 7 loved Camp Carnival. We went to Key West and the Bahamas. The taxi in the Bahamas cost us $4 per person each way to Atlantis. We book

Experience started out not great, our luggage was lost. Constatin (steward) was most helpful through this, explained what we should do. Service desk looked after us just great with tempoary toiletries etc.
At end of cruise Carival made a very handsome deduction in our bill for compensation

Limited time on Shore

The destinations that we went to were great. One word of advice is to get in line EARLY to get off the ship when there is no dock. When tenders were used to get to shore, the wait can be frustrating and cut into your time on shore. Everything else on the cruise was superb.

Overall experience: We were quite pleased with the Splendor in terms of size, cabin amenities
