Wonderful Ship & Crew

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 10/19/08 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

Upon my retirement from the Air Force after 29 years, I and my wife took our first cruise. This was by far the best value of a vacation ever! The Pride was immaculate every moment. Being in aircraft maintenance, I looked carefully at the condition of the ship and it was perfect, not a sin

Carnival's Unscrupulous Marketing

Ship: Carnival Triumph | Sail Date: 06/21/07 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

I registered with carnival.com and we're been receiving various forms of SPAM regularly ever since. We get regular UNSOLICITED PHONE CALLS from companies claiming that we've won travel packages, UNREQUESTED MAGAZINES from Carnival and several UNSOLICITED EMAIL EVERY WEEK from Carnival, Princ

Overall good cruise - despite some problems

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 08/20/06 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

I had cruised last year on the Carnival Paradise, and had a great time. This is part of the reason I decided to cruise with Carnival again. My travel companion and I decided that we would get massages at the Day Spa. Upon boarding and entering our cabin for the first time, we noticed some

Disappointing cruise 7/23/06

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 07/23/06 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

We got to the port to leave for the Mexican Riviera and were told that day that we were going to Canada instead (no advance notice) because of bad weather conditions. Imagine shorts, tank tops and nothing warm to wear. Carnival gave a credit of $200.00 per stateroom and 25% of a future cru

Another wonderful experience cruising with Carnival

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: August 21, 2005 | Destination: Mexico

We had yet another wonderful experience cruising with Carnival. We actually had a party of eight. Our last family vacation, where all the members of our family were present, was around 5 years ago. This time we took two girlfriends in order for the boys to go; however, if that's what it took to have my family together sobeit. Everyone enjoyed themselves. My one son, age 19 and his girlfriend actually participated in the 'massage for couples' class put on by the Spa. They loved it. I am a psychotherapist and I took the 'meditation' class with my 24 year old daughter. It was a good refresher for me in my line of work. We hit some pretty turbulant weather, but it didn't seem to bother anyone. Nearly everyone we came in contact with on the ship were pleasant and helpful. THis year we really enjoyed the previous cruiser party, where the video was shown about the history of Carnival. That was really interesting. All and all we had a grand time 'again.' We are currently looking into booking a cruise next year to Alaska and then the following year to Europe. A couple of my kids have aleady asked if they can go to Europe. I'm thrilled Carnival is now cruising Europe. With all the mishaps our travel agent had, everything turned out great. The only complaint my kids had was the the room service was totally free. My kids are 24, 22, 19 and 17. We look forward to cruising with Carnival many times in the future. Thank you - Cindi Christiansen and Family
