Carnival has changed

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 04/13/2008 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

Avoid this ship!!! I have been cruising for over 20 years on several different lines and this was by far the worst cruise. Before this trip I was Carnival's biggest fan. Let me start with my room. All of the bottles in the mini bar had the seals broken and the contents exchanged with water.

SPA & PURSER PROBLEMS

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 03/16/08 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

Arrived at about 11am and went to early check in. There was a problem with customs on prior cruise so we did not begin boarding until after 1:30pm (this was no fault of carnival it was a surprise inspection). Despite the late boarding the shore staff was great as usual and the ship left on t

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 03/02/2008 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

I was very dissappointed with the crew in general. Our room steward and our dinner crew was great, but I noticed everywhere you went on the ship noone smiled or said hello, they all looked miserable. If you asked a question, you would get a look like you were bothering them, I have sailed on

This was a the best vacation we have ever taken. From the time we waited in line to board the ship to the time of debarkation, everything was smooth sailing and well organized. My boyfriend and I loved the service, the ship, the cleanliness, the entertainment, the food, everything was alway

Won't be cruising with Carnival again.....

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 04/23/06 | Destination: Mexico

Captain dabbled in unprofessional activities unprofessional - I heard stories about his daily (and nightly) "activities" with a young lady who was assigned to our dinner table. Interestingly enough, in the Carnival Pride magazine it mentioned his happy wife and family back home. Ship left

My family and I had a great time on our cruise

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 08/14/2005 | Destination: Mexico

My Family and I had a great time on our cruise. We will definately be taking another one in the future. The crew was a friendly one, and very concerned as to our being made to feel at home onboard. shore excursions were fun, but we also had the ability to explore on our own, which we did in Puerta Vallarta. Our overall experience was enjoyable, and we hope to cruise with Carnival again.

The whole crew was superb

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: Aug 14/05 | Destination: Mexico

The whole experience for myself and my new wife Denise was exceptional! The whole crew was superb in treating myself and Denise with the upmost of cortiousness and a sense of belonging was more than we expected! I must point out that the dining experience was beyond exceptional! I would like to point out 2 individuals that made the cruise totally enjoyable for myself and my wife, our head waiter Gerardo and Ronald, whom made the whole dining experience above and beyond what we had hoped for! Based on the service and dedication of these individuals, we would reccomend and plan on taking another cruise with Carnival!

Personable staff and captain made the difference

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 8/14/2005 | Destination: Mexico

My husband and I have have sailed Carnival and Holland America. We have always been pleased with the service of the staff and crew. This particular cruise was exceptional due to the visibility of the Captain. He was the most personable Captain that we have ever encountered on any cruise line.
