We expected a lot better. Shame on you Carnival!

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 12/28/08 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

My husband and I opted for a more expensive stateroom with a balcony. For the money that we paid we expected a lot better. To start with many things in our stateroom broke: (1) the thermostat regulator broke off into my hand and the thermostat got stuck on "cold", since it didn't get fixed u

missing item from stateroom, deck 6

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 06/24/07 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

Embarkation day was warm, so I put on my 2 piece bathing that I carried on to the ship and spent the afternoon at the pool. That evening, I showered and hung up my skirted bathing suit bottom and top on the inside of the bathroom door. The next day it was too cold for the pool. The third

The suite is the best!

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 05/20/2007 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

We had a suite on the back of the boat with a wrap around balcony. It was very spacous with 2 tv's a nice sitting area and walk in closet. This was worth the price after looking in the other rooms offered on the ship.

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 05/13/07 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

We are a family of five that went on our 2nd Carnival cruise. The kids are ages 13, 20 and 22. The two girls had their own inside cabin on the Veranda deck and my husband, son, and I shared a Balcony cabin on the Veranda deck. Our room was very comfortable and the girls had plenty of room in

Dining Experience

Ship: Carnival Pride | Sail Date: 12/10/06 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

Finally received "Platinum" status. For my tenth cruise with Carnival, I must say that our dining experience has to be rated a "ten". Serkan and Osman (table 411) did an outstanding job at making our dining experience a memorable one. We introduced our children to Carnival back in 2003. They

We have sailed with Carnival 4 other times and have enjoyed the different ships. I am looking forward to another great cruise. We are celebrating out 25th anniversary with our daughter who is 20. I am hoping there will be other young adults on the cruise for her to mingle with. Hoping for a

Food very good, could be quieter

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 08-28-05 | Destination: Mexico

Cabins were nice and spacy. Food was outstanding. Could not believe that food was better than Holland America. I realize that this was a family ship; but I enjoy the peace and tranquility of Holland America. I feel that I am getting the most out of a cruise in quiet environment.

Fun and friendly

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 08/14/05 | Destination: Mexico

Everything about the cruise was wonderful. This was our first cruise, and we were all thrilled. we have told all of our friends and family about our experience, and we highly recommend the Carnival Cruise Line. The staff was fun and friendly, especially Chris, our cruise director. Our rooms were kept clean and neat, and the room attendants were friendly and helpful. The game shows and bingo were fun and relaxing, and usually entertaining. The shows were awesome. Our teenage and young adult children really enjoyed the shows as did my husband and I. There felt that the singers and dancers were all very talented individuals. The food was excellent, and we all tried lots of new dishes that we would have probably never tried under other circumstances. My 21 son who has always been really picky about eating, tried something new every day, and he found lots of new items that he really liked. Everyone loved having pizza and icecream at their slightest whim. The dinner hour was always entertaining with the waiters who danced during dessert. The girls went to the club for dancing and had a great time there as well. We gambled everyday, and managed to pretty much stay even. Fun 21 was a favorite for all of us. We really enjoyed meeting the dealers from around the world, and meeting and socializing with other guests. Puerta Vallarta was our favorite port, and we would love to go back there and stay for a week. By and far, the cruise was one of the best vacations we have ever taken, and we really look forward to sailing with Carnival in the future.

A traveling experience

Ship: Pride | Sail Date: 08/21/2005 | Destination: Mexico

My husband and I had previously traveled on the same ship, so we did not need to get acquinted with the vessels logistics which was really nice. I could not get lost even if we wanted too. I will compared this experience from our last trip and difinitely this time it was the balcony stateroom that made this trip more memoriable. We will never sail without booking a balcony stateroom or upgrade. I felt no lost of time (which could happen in an inside stateroom). We were able to delight ourselves with the outside vista and felt this is cruising, being able to feel your senses. My next experience I was awed by the Dinning at David's Super Club. The service was extraordinary, we had 5 people serving us and we felt extremely special. The courses we truely tasteful and the atmosphere was quite and serene, which provided us the time to be with eachother and Love all over again. Thank you
