Please check the BBB before you cruise with carnival!!!

Ship: Carnival Glory | Sail Date: 04/05/2007 | Destination: Bahamas

checking the better business bureau will seal the deal for your decision on a cruise boat to book. Carnival has an unsatisfactory rating and after sailing with them recently I now know why. They lost my luggage and did not find it until 2 hours after everyone got off the ship. It was found o

Attention: Non-smokers and Sleepers

Ship: Carnival Glory | Sail Date: 12/09/06 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean

There are for sure some good fun things about a Carnival Glory Cruise, but if you're a non-smoker, forget about enjoying an in-door drink or live music until you get home. Unless you enjoy Karaoke Music throbbing through the floor until midnight, DON'T rent Room #6473. The #1 Son

Karoke on the Glory

If you are sailing on the Glory and enjoy Karoke, don't miss Lenka (I think that is her name) and her Karoke bar.  She was just so cute and fun, and to me, the most important thing is that she made everyone feel so welcome and was encouraging to all who took part in Karoke.  In fact, she even had nice things to say about the people in the audience (like my husband and me) who didn't sing but were doing "backup" of sorts, cheering on the singers and waving our hands.  We had a lot of fun at Karoke, and my only regret is that we missed the first two nights of it.  If I had it to do over again I would leave my late seating dinner and make sure I got to Kaoke when it started.  Thanks Lenka for a great time. (I hope I got your name right.)

Shows

Just curious... Does anyone know what shows they are running in the Amber Palace? We are going in October and I know it may change by then, but just curious... :)

on board activities

We loved playing Scatergories and Win , Lose or Draw with David. He was fun and did deliver our trophies to us before we departed the boat.

Bingo could use a bit of improvement. I especially did not like the double down..we won a $100 game split with another person, chose an envelope to trade our $50 for 50 scratch off tickets, made a mess scratching them off, won $18 and the Bingo card cost $20...come one guys let's improve this. We need more games for the prizes. The money was good but maybe split it up a bit so you get more than 1 game for your $20.

I wished that we had more Card games available. Euchre, Pinochle, Rummy even thoughBridge was offered only 3-4 people ever came down for it. Maybe a card tournament with a prize.

I had a great time! Thanks to all of the Entertainement Staff especially David and Sally.

First-cruise (The Glory)

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/20/05 | Destination: Eastern Caribbean

This was my first cruise experience and I dont know where to begin. From embarkation to debarkation I was amazed at the friendliness and competency of the Carnival staff. The Glory was beautiful and super clean. There were activities for everyone or you could do absolutely nothing but sit and sun. I was truly treated like royalty. Too bad it had to end and I had to rreturn to the real world. Thank you Carnival for a most wonderful time. I cant wait until we cruise again. Deidre Goldberg

I had a great time on my cruise!

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

I wish I was back there everyday! The shore excursions were great and really easy to get to and very stress free. I also really enjoyed onboard activities, like the cinn-a-bar with Mike Lawless.

Kudos to the Activity Coordinator

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

There were so many activities all day and night long that you just walked from one fun event to the other!!!! The funniest was the hairy chest contest on the lido deck. Three cheers to the activity coordinator; I don't know where he gets the energy and the creativity.

1st Cruise…Loved It!

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

This being my first cruise, I loved the whole experience. There were many things to do on the ship and the services were great. I had so much fun at dinner with the waiters. The shore excursions were amazing, I never would've experienced those things if I hadn't gone on this cruise. It was simple amazing!!

My first cruise as an adult, and I enjoyed it very much

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/14/2005 | Destination: Western Caribbean

My first cruise as an adult, and I enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent, but the quantity was small. But it doesn't matter because you can eat as much as you want.Although there was more than 3000 people on board, it never felt crowded. Plenty of lounge chairs on deck. There were alot of kids, but plenty of things for the adults to do.I enjoyed Mexico the most.Went to private beach owned by Carnival, won a bottle of Tequila, playing a water game, the off the Carlos and Charleys.Had a blast.Overall the cruise was great, but 2 days at sea back ti back was a bit much. Enjoy

Had a Wonderful Time

Ship: Glory | Sail Date: 08/13/05 | Destination: Western Caribbean

I had a wonderful time on my cruise. The cruise director was great and kept us laughing all the time. There was always something to do on board to keep you busy until the next port of call. I can't wait for my next cruise.
