Start Planning!

Just imagine how many fun places there are on a “Fun Ship” that's as long as three football fields. You can swim in your choice of three pools (the fourth one's for the kids), barrel down a waterslide, participate in poolside games or kick back and relax with a tropical drink. Step inside and check out the two-story dining rooms, health spa and dance club. You're sure to find your kind of music in one of the many clubs and lounges along the ship's main boulevard. Pull into port and go ashore where the fun in the sun continues.

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 11/22/08 | Destination: Caribbean

I know I may be one in a million that does not / did not like my cruise, but here is m y review anyways. I thought it sucked. I did not enjoy the cruise. I thought it was boring, it did not have enough FUN activities for adults. I would rather do something more then bingo, art autions, or ev

CONSTRUCTION?!?!?!

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 9/24/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

I sailed on Carnival Destiny, out of San Juan, Puerto Rico on August 24th of this year. My then fiance and I had a great experience last year as first-time cruisers. So much so that we decided to tie the knot this year aboard Destiny. However, this year's trip turned out to be HORRIBLE.

WORST CRUISE EVER......

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 09/21/2008 | Destination: Caribbean

This was the WORST cruise I've EVER experienced with Carnnival... Starting with the late departure to the rude crew members, that were NEVER willing to answer questions or to assist guest that were in need of assistance. My bathroom continued to flood, with water running out of the toliet,

Threatened On A Carnival Fun Ship

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 08/24/2008 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

My wife and I have sailed on Carnival 5 times. The first 4 times were all wonderful, but this last trip was horrific. We sailed the Carnival Destiny in October 2000, when it was about one year old (I believe), so we were excited to sail the Destiny again in August 2008, but were deeply disap

Disappointed

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 08/03/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

We have been on three previous cruises with Carnival and were significantly disappointed with the onboard activities and entertainment. There was none except for the dance shows. The comedian cancelled his apppearance and the other comedianne was mediocre to say the least. The quality

Carnival Destiny needs to be dry docked

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 06/08/2008 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

The curise was great and we had a good time at all the ports of call. But the Destiny is an old ship and a lot of the things on the ship showed it. like the cabin bathroom for one the shower has rust and there wes mold but the room steward did a good job of cleaning. and the water drained

Destiny for Greatness!

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 03/23/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

Our family of 7 (from teens to parents in their upper 40's), spent our spring break together for our 4th cruise. We sailed the Carnival Destiny and after reading many mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. Honestly, like any ship out there, you can find things that need to be improved

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 03/01/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

We took this same ship 6 years ago and were dissapointed to see that NOTHING had changed- decor, shows, menu- NOTHING !!! Of the seven night cruise we had no hot water for four of the days- and we had a suite !! The destinations were good but the ship and staff left something to be desired.

Book a late flight

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 03/02/08 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean

We had a bad experience on our last cruise. But what made it worse was the fact that the staff on the ship were not helpful and did not tell us the truth when asked a question. They let you off of the boat at the end of your cruise by number you are given the night before. You can reque

I have not been on this ship before but I will be going in about 80 days. I just wanted to say some of the reviews on this ship that are bad was before the Carnival Destiny had been refurbished. The Carnival Destiny has just got a multi=millon dollar refurbshment. So the rooms, shows rooms,

The Ports of Call are to die for -- however --

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 10/01/06 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

make sure your patience and tolerance are packed along with your swimsuit and sunblock. I am not sure why but this particular ship has several problems. Among them are: (1) the ship is old and not particularly well maintained; (2) the crew is overworked or not from Carnival's prime employee

WORST VACATION EVER

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 09/04/05 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

I cruised with Carnival Destiny on September 4th, 2005 to the southern Caribbean. This was my second cruise but first with carnival and believe me it will definitely be my last. The boat appeared to be old and if you have cruised with Royal Caribbean you would not be impressed. The shows tha
