I sailed on Carnival Destiny, out of San Juan, Puerto Rico on August 24th of this year. My then fiance and I had a great experience last year as first-time cruisers. So much so that we decided to tie the knot this year aboard Destiny. However, this year's trip turned out to be HORRIBLE.

WORST CRUISE EVER......

This was the WORST cruise I've EVER experienced with Carnnival... Starting with the late departure to the rude crew members, that were NEVER willing to answer questions or to assist guest that were in need of assistance. My bathroom continued to flood, with water running out of the toliet,

We have been on three previous cruises with Carnival and were significantly disappointed with the onboard activities and entertainment. There was none except for the dance shows. The comedian cancelled his apppearance and the other comedianne was mediocre to say the least.

Carnival Destiny needs to be dry docked

The curise was great and we had a good time at all the ports of call. But the Destiny is an old ship and a lot of the things on the ship showed it. like the cabin bathroom for one the shower has rust and there wes mold but the room steward did a good job of cleaning. and the water drained

Our family of 7 (from teens to parents in their upper 40's), spent our spring break together for our 4th cruise. We sailed the Carnival Destiny and after reading many mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. Honestly, like any ship out there, you can find things that need to be improved

We took this same ship 6 years ago and were dissapointed to see that NOTHING had changed- decor, shows, menu- NOTHING !!! Of the seven night cruise we had no hot water for four of the days- and we had a suite !! The destinations were good but the ship and staff left something to be desired.

We had a bad experience on our last cruise. But what made it worse was the fact that the staff on the ship were not helpful and did not tell us the truth when asked a question.

make sure your patience and tolerance are packed along with your swimsuit and sunblock. I am not sure why but this particular ship has several problems. Among them are: (1) the ship is old and not particularly well maintained; (2) the crew is overworked or not from Carnival's prime employee
