Start Planning!

Just imagine how many fun places there are on a “Fun Ship” that's as long as three football fields. You can swim in your choice of three pools (the fourth one's for the kids), barrel down a waterslide, participate in poolside games or kick back and relax with a tropical drink. Step inside and check out the two-story dining rooms, health spa and dance club. You're sure to find your kind of music in one of the many clubs and lounges along the ship's main boulevard. Pull into port and go ashore where the fun in the sun continues.

The most horrible cruise of my life

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 12/15/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

I couldn't believe what i put myself into. I am en expert traveler and I couldn't believe in what bad state and shape was this old ship. I have previously sailed on RoyalCaribbean, Princess, Holland America, Cunard & other Carnival Ships, but this one was an absolute disappointment. The food

Worst cruise ever!!!!

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 12/15/08 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean

I have been on 20 Carnival cruises and this by far was the worst ever. The staff members have no idea of the policies of carnival or how to treat people. The tables in the Lido dinning areas were not cleaned as they have been on past cruises. Most of the staff had attitudes as if I was bothe

The Destiny ship is new in the port of Miami, don't let the travel agent fool you, it is not a new ship. This ship needs to be remodel especially the staterooms bathrooms and the carpet every where you go it smells really bad, also the food is not as good as before. Carnival is not offering

Destiny - Floating Junk Heap

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 09/21/08 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

We began calling this the Crusie From Hell. People everywhere on the ship were complaining. The lines at the pursers desk were an hour long for days. We had no TV for 3 days and when we called, the maintenance people lied repeatedly before finally sending someone up to look at it and foun

If you are a hard worker whose been saving up for a vacation to remember do not waste your money on Carnival unless you want to remember the worse experience of you life. This ship was old and dirty. We dreaded the times that we were hungry because the food made airplane food look good. The

Got my money's worth

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: August 21-2005 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

My cruise was the BOMB!!! I really did not expect the courtesy that I received. The staff was always there to assist in anyway possible. The FOOD just had me going and going for more.(money's worth I must say) The host was exceptionally great always making you want more to laught about. Fisrt class dinning, as a training chef must say 'EXCELLENT'. The guest interaction was great when the shows was going on always had me in tears of laughter. Thank you for a wonderful second honeymoon, we really had a lovely time of getting to know each other again and those 2 days at sea really did us well. THANKS AGAIN CARNIVAL!!!!!!!!!

Shore Excursions were great

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/14/2005 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

This was the best cruise we have taken. The ship staff was great, the staff in the dinning room were the best that we have had on any cruise ship. This was our third time cruising and we look forward to it again. The shore excursions that were offered were great and we had a great time. It's hard to please a family of 4 all the time, but all of us had the greatest vacation in a long time. Thanks Carnival for having a great staff and doing such a great job. Tom Haggerty

Polite and pleasant staff

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/14/05 | Destination: Eastern Caribbean

All staff very polite and pleasant and attentive to clients and to details of their particular job, particularly formal dinner staff who were so kind and attentive. I really admired their skills and ability to move us through dinner to get ready for next seating without ever appearing to rush us (we had early seating). Particularly liked classical music trio and young female pianist who was classically-trained and playing contemporary 'easy-listening' music. I had not expected food to be so diverse and of such good quality and prepared so beautifully-rivaled many excellent restaurants I have dined in. I was hesitant about taking a cruise but would certainly do so again and would likely choose Carnival. Loud music early morning and all through day (all over shipboard) sometimes distracting but not real problem.

I had a fabulous and extremely enjoyable time

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 8/14/05---------8/21/05 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

The cruise was indeed quite memorable.I had a fabulous and extremely enjoyable time. The activities on board were exceptional. You surpassed my expectations. The shows hosted in the Palladium were fun and exciting. I was so overjoyed with the service extended by the dining room staff and the steward. Those young men I encountered are really an asset to your establishment. Nigel, Leonardo and Puvadol are simply adorable yet professional. The island of St. Thomas was the most enchanting of those I toured. You do a great job and make fun a reality on the Destiny. I will cherish my memories so keep up the fine work. Thanks Norma Hamilton

Never a dull moment

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/21/05 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

This was my first cruise ever and I was really excited that I would be sharing this new experience with my three bestfriends. The moment we arrived onboard we were greeted with smiles. We were treated like roality and there was never a dull moment. Not even during the days we spent on sea. We meet so many people during our cruise, we mainly made friends with the bartendars and casino dealers. We were never hungry.. 24 hour pizza and ice cream and we made it a habit to have dinner every night in the dinning room. The staff was extremely friendly, had great customer service, and cared for all the guests' needs. Seven days went by so fast and we were definitely sad to leave the ship. We are currently planning our next cruise and more of our friends will be coming. I have told almost everyone I know that they need to book a Carnival cruise. It was the greatest, most amazing experience ever and definitely the best vacation I ever had. I cant wait until the next cruise!

Group Cruise

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/14/05 - 08/21/05 | Destination: Eastern Caribbean

This was the first time my wife and I had gone a cruise and we did go with a group. We totally enjoyed ourselves onboard an ond on shore. Your ship was very clean and everyone of the crew was quite friendly. Your staff is the barometer by which we could, at first glance, guage what our experience would be like aboard your ship and they were superb. When we return, I hope to find the same friendly faces and attitudes. Destiny is like a floating city. There is no need to go on shore for anything except to see the sights of the various destinations. The entertainment was very good also. I am ready to do it again. Thank you. ronald Hudgins, Sr.

Best group family vacation

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 09/14/2005 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

This was my second cruise traveling with my wife and kids along with my wifes parents and other family members. This was one of the best group family vacations I have ever had. The shows, the disco's, the fine dining and the hospitality of the crew was just so overwhelming, I have to take another cruise soon.
