Start Planning!

Just imagine how many fun places there are on a “Fun Ship” that's as long as three football fields. You can swim in your choice of three pools (the fourth one's for the kids), barrel down a waterslide, participate in poolside games or kick back and relax with a tropical drink. Step inside and check out the two-story dining rooms, health spa and dance club. You're sure to find your kind of music in one of the many clubs and lounges along the ship's main boulevard. Pull into port and go ashore where the fun in the sun continues.

Complete disappointment

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 12/20/08 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

We have just returned from our vacation in the Caribbean, and I wanted to pass along a bit of information concerning the ship's accommodations. We had an aft balcony stateroom on the Veranda deck. We had requested a room with an extra bed for my 83 year old Mom, and per the information g

A Cruise full of wonderful surprises

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 10/02/08 | Destination: Caribbean

We took a girlfriends trip to get away from it all and were wer ever surprised. We booked three cabins for the six of us, and though the cabins were large enough to accomodate 4 people comfortably, we enjoyed the extra room. The ship had recently come out of drydock. We were able to book

Get rid of Destiny

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 09/21/08 | Destination: > Eastern Caribbean

I have been on eight carnival cruises, I have never seen the sight. The worst cruise ship I have ever seen. The air not work in the room or the hallways, elevators out of order most the time. It was just a mess. Bernice never Destiny again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Destiny is great again

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 06/08/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

We just returned from the Destiny (June 8-15) to the Southern Caribbean. This was our 3rd cruise on the Destiny, first was in 1998 when the ship was new, then again in 2003. Reading some of the negative reviews before we left, there was a little concern on the state of the ship, but there

Worst experience of my life!

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 04/20/08 | Destination: Caribbean

I just returned from my Carnival Cruise on the Destiny and I have to say I will never cruise with Carnival again. We have cruised on 2 other cruise lines prior to Carnival and they were far superior. Our stateroom on the Destiny was 2 floors above the Palladium Theatre and everynight until

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 01/27/08 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

Just returned from our first (and last) Carnival cruise. We've cruised on 3 other lines but Carnival was the worst. Our suite was dirty when we arrived. Bed was made and fresh towels but nothing else clean. I could write my name in the dust on the counters so it was obvious that the room ha

Cruiser beware!!!

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 12/24/06 | Destination: > Western Caribbean

Generally I do not like to complain but this was something I had to write in the survey ditributed on the ship, and share with others. Our balcony stateroom and the whole ship in general were very dated and ran down. AC did not work so all cruise we had a big portable unit working in th

My first time cruise

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 08/13/06 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

I was very excited about my first cruise. Unfortunately, I was not empressed by the Carnival Destiny. I travelled with 5 other people and upon arrival we were told that our cabin was upgraded. You would think this would be the start of the best vacation ever. However, no one told us that an

My Experience

Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 07/16/06 | Destination: > Southern Caribbean

I recently cruised with Carnival Destiny and it was a trip like no other. The staff was very polite, but communication on the boat is horrible amongst guest and staff. The boat had "technical difficulties" and we missed our returning flights home. This trip was Sunday to Sunday and I did

I had a wonderful time!

Ship: Destiny | Sail Date: 08/14/05 | Destination: Southern Caribbean

This was my first cruise and I have to say I had a wonderful time! My room was excellent and I especially enjoyed having the balcony. It particularly helped me, as I was slightly worried about getting sea sick. The spa treatments were a very relaxing change of pace. I was also surprised that the gym was so well-equipped! The food was excellent and there were actually a few choices for me, this is remarkable especially since I am a vegetarian! One day when there was a Japanese-themed meal, there was even tofu! The shore excursions were great...there was something for everyone. I particularly wanted to be very active in my excursions..it was nice to be able to relax on deck and get a massage, and go to the island and horseback ride, snorkel, or speedboat! I loved the variety. I was even able to participate onstage in the Palladium in a show and received complimentary champagne and a medal! I had an excellent time and will certainly look to your company for further vacations! Also, one suggestion, please try to have more vegetarian protein sources available:-. The veggie burgers and occasional tofu was greatly appreciated, though.
