Complete disappointment
Ship: Carnival Destiny | Sail Date: 12/20/08 | Destination: > Western Caribbean
We have just returned from our vacation in the Caribbean, and I wanted to pass along a bit of information concerning the ship's accommodations. We had an aft balcony stateroom on the Veranda deck.
We had requested a room with an extra bed for my 83 year old Mom, and per the information g

A Cruise full of wonderful surprises

Get rid of Destiny

I have been on eight carnival cruises, I have never seen the sight. The worst cruise ship I have ever seen. The air not work in the room or the hallways, elevators out of order most the time. It was just a mess.

I just returned from my Carnival Cruise on the Destiny and I have to say I will never cruise with Carnival again. We have cruised on 2 other cruise lines prior to Carnival and they were far superior. Our stateroom on the Destiny was 2 floors above the Palladium Theatre and everynight until

The ship wasn't good at all,and I heard more people say how they didn't like it than did.its sad cause it couldn't have been so much more! I would never go on Destiny again, But last year Carnival Vortory was so Great I couldn't have ask for better,Thats why we took our family this year and

This was my first cruise and I have to say I had a wonderful time! My room was excellent and I especially enjoyed having the balcony. It particularly helped me, as I was slightly worried about getting sea sick. The spa treatments were a very relaxing change of pace. I was also surprised that the gym was so well-equipped! The food was excellent and there were actually a few choices for me, this is remarkable especially since I am a vegetarian! One day when there was a Japanese-themed meal, there was even tofu! The shore excursions were great...there was something for everyone. I particularly wanted to be very active in my excursions..it was nice to be able to relax on deck and get a massage, and go to the island and horseback ride, snorkel, or speedboat! I loved the variety. I was even able to participate onstage in the Palladium in a show and received complimentary champagne and a medal! I had an excellent time and will certainly look to your company for further vacations! Also, one suggestion, please try to have more vegetarian protein sources available:-. The veggie burgers and occasional tofu was greatly appreciated, though.
