This is the Superliner that introduced Spirit-class sailing and such innovations as the two-level promenade and the reservations-only supper club. Among her outstanding features is greater speed, which makes it possible for you to visit destinations that would take other ships 10 days or more to travel. Eighty percent of her staterooms have ocean views, and of those, 80% have balconies, so you can admire that panoramic scenery from the comfort of your own private stateroom.

Great Experience

Ship: Carnival Spirit | Sail Date: 01/07/09 | Destination: > Mexican Riviera

My wife and I returned from an excellent wedding anniversary cruise. We were on the Spirit and sailed to the Mexican Riviera. We were treated very well by the ships crew, and enjoyed all of the ship's accommodations, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and based on this, we would do

The cruise of a lifetime

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 8-24-2005 | Destination: Alaska

FABULOUS. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO DANCE EVERY NIGHT WITH YOUR WONDERFUL HOSTS. IT WAS A CRUISE OF A LIFETIME AND I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE. WE WERE WITH A GROUP OF 67, NOT ALL SINGLES, AND WE WERE TREATED SO WELL BY EVERYONE FROM THE STEWARD TO THE WAITERS TO THE BAR WAITERS. I HAVE CRUISED BEFORE, BUT ENJOYED THIS ONE BEST. ALASKA IS SO DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER CRUISES.

It really exceeded my expectations

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 08/17/2005 | Destination: Alaska

This was my first cruise. I had heard how great they were. But It really exceded my expectations.I was in ah with the whole ship, how clean everthing was, no fingerprints on glass doors, but the funny thing was I never saw anyone cleaning. The whole crew was so friendly, ready to help you when you needed it.The food was excellent, & the service & entainment was great , I especially like the singing & dancing @ dinner. It made dining special.I had fun with all the picture taking off & on board the ship.I had a great cruise. The tours I took were well worth the money I paid.

I thought it was perfect

Ship: Spirit | Sail Date: 08/24/05 | Destination: Alaska

Luxurious; entertainment and food excellent and the waiters and all crew outstandinly curtious and friendly including cabin crew. In all just the most perfect cruise far more than I could have imagined seeing it was my husband and my first time - what a perfect way to begin retirement and cruising being the way to travel.
