The CARNIVAL LIBERTY must be seen to be experienced. Europe’s first Mega “Fun Ship” has everything you need (and more) for the unforgettable excitement of 12, 14 and 16 day voyages in style. From the imaginative design in the style of Old World artisans to decks of restaurants, clubs, lounges and shopping. There’s fun for children and teens, acres of outdoor activities, plus the largest spa, casino and showroom at sea. The CARNIVAL LIBERTY truly is the only way to see Europe in all its grandeur and history.

Carnival Liberty Spa

I would like to know more about the spa on the Carnival Liberty. Is there a pool in this area? Is there a jacuzzi?

What is in the women's only area? men's only area?

Do you have to purchase a spa pass to visit these areas or is a treatment required? In other words, can you use the facilities without buying a treatment?

What kinds of spa specials do they offer?

Is acupuncture or tooth whitening offered?

Is there a spa demo or drawing?

Do they have an "Alpha Capsule"?

Great time

My wife and two children ages 5 and 3 went on the Liberty and had a wonderful time.  This was my 5th cruise on carnival and my children's 1rst.  I have to say the service was better than ever and the ship was exceptionally clean.  The kids loved camp carnival as well as the ports.  We are booked again this summer on the Carnival Miracle.  Cruising on Carnival is definately the way to go.

Carnival Liberty Cruise, 1-5-08 to 1-13-08

I had a fantastic time during our very recent cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. My husband and I had a problem initially with the stateroom (ocean view). The refrigerator was not cleaned out prior to our arrival, which was quickly corrected by the housekeeping supervisor. The food served at the buffet was good, but there was not much variety to choose from and the service was not great. The food served in the dining room, although similar to the buffet was good and the service there was great. I scheduled a shore excursion for every island stop except for San Juan, Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, unless you like to be involved in the island nightlife, arrving at San Juan at 5:00 p.m. does not leave much time for sight-seeing during daytime hours. This was my third cruise the second with Carnival. Without a doubt, the guests aboard the Liberty were the most friendly folks anyone could ever meet! The onboard activities were awesome and plentiful. I must recommend that if you enjoy seeing the island sites from the ocean, you should seriously consider going on the shore excursion Antigua by the Sea. It was 6 hours in its entirety, but worth every penny of its cost @ $100.00 each. I would have loved to stay longer in Nassau, Bahamas, but we were there for only 6.5 hours. Carnival could certainly improve on its embarkation process; and has certainly improved with its debarkation, particularly using zones for smooth passenger exist off of the ship. Carnival cruises are a great bargain, but in the future, I would like to see their new ships and the refurbishing of the older vessels include the ice-skating facilities and flow-rider encounters that are available with other cruise lines. Overall, the Liberty is a beautiful ship and offers a vacation value that I would certainly recommend to all searching for the cruise of their dreams!

Service

Although we enjoyed our cruise on Liberty. the service was not at par with some of the other cruise lines.  At times the deck near the pool was dirty with french fries and spilled on the floor.  Not only was it dangerous, but it was also unsightly.  We had some difficulties with seating arrangements in the diningroom.  The maitre'd was very slow to correct the problem, saying it was the fault of the booking agent.  At one point we tried to buy a stamp.  The person at the desk did not know where the stamps were.  When we returned as suggested they would not allow us to use our card.  As it was we did not have enough money to pay for the stamp so we elected to buy one in port.  The two persons on duty were arguing in front of us.  We were not introduced to our cabin steward and as a result he lost out on the extra tip for good service.  Entertainment was great.  Sailing away party was boring with not much to do.  The line ups to get on board ship were appalling.  Surely if other cruise lines can get you processed quickly and efficiently, Carnival can too.

Young children travel

Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Europe

We had the most amazing time. We had apprehension about traveling so far with young children but being on the Liberty was the best experience for all of us. We loved the night time family movies on the Promenade deck and Camp Carnival was outstanding!!

It was my very first cruise

Ship: Liberty | Sail Date: 08/13/2005 | Destination: Europe

It exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness, the food, and entertainment were great. It was truly an excellent value.
