I am travelling to Pamama August 4th 2007 is anyone else going then and for anyone who has travelled there how is it

I am not certain as to the how great the Panama Canal cruise is, but I would love to take that cruise. What is the cost of that cruise? I have been on their website looking for information, and have yet to find information.

The panama canal trip is amazing!! This was my first cruise and I was impressed!! You will love it!!. Very humid though...dress accordingly...

I'm going on this cruise May 12,'07.  Seems to be cheaper than the cruise I'm taking in Jan '07.  I've done the  deposit- so I'm pretty excited.  Hoping to see where more are going in May.  I'll definitely do a review for those who haven't done the Panama trip.

  We are also booked on the May 12th cruise.  Should be fun.  Have never been to the canal and are exited to see and tour it.  I heard however that you want to stay with a ship tour because the area of Colon is not very safe for tourists.

We are traveling on the Liberty March 17, 2007 and one of our shore excursions is in Panama.  Have never been there and would like feedback from someone as to which excursion (sched. thru Carnival) is the best??  On another note - what have you heard about the Liberty?  I'm just curious as this is our first time on that particular ship.  We have been on about 5 other Carnival ships and have enjoyed them all thus far.
