Have alcohol in your cabin if you like

Many people want to have a drink in their room and wonder how to do it.

You can call Carnival Bon Voyage office at Carnival Cruise Line and order the bottle of your choice and it will be in your room when you enter your cabin.  For example, Skye Vodaka is $40. I know that is a little steep but if you figure out the price of a drink at the bar at $6.95 plus 15% versus this price. . . it is a steal. You could bring your own mix in your bags.

Call Carnival Bon Voyage office at Carnival Cruise Line and price the bottle of your choice.

We usually bring our own wine, get wine glasses from the nearest bar, and enjoy. After all, it's a fun cruise, so why not have fun!

Hey guys. . .yes we were on the same cruise.  You know, I recall now that our bags were outside our stateroom a little after 1:30PM.. .maybe because we checked in so early at the Port Of New Orleans parking garage.  The curb side porter had our bags about 9:15AM . . .so the later you board the ship I would guess the later your bags will be outside your stateroom. In all our cruises we always get on board early as possible so we can enjoy lunch on the Lido Deck. . .be it Carnival or Royal Caribbean ships. Plus, we take our Walkie Talkies and when we are seperated we can alway make contact.  Never found a place they would not connect on any ship.  Got to love um.

Where did you folks park?  We were staying out in Metairie, LA for 3 days at the Sheraton, so parking was best for us at the Port.  Drive up. Swipe CC go in and there was the porter waiting to take the bags.  Drive up one level and the elevator was there to take us to the Security Check and then on to CCL Check In Desk.  But we did have a 2 hour wait in the embarkation area. Really impressed with Port of New Orleans.  Clean, fast in and out.  When we disembarked we get a porter to port our bags through Customs. . takes about 10 minutes and right out to the parking garage and he loads them in the trunk. I would say from the time we started walking out of the embarkation holding deck. . .to driving out of the Port garage to the French Quarters it was 25 minutes.

We were is Upper Deck U137 stateroom.  Very nice and good location.  Where were you folks located?  We had 2nd seating. . .but we only went 2 times. First night and last.  Just did not want to be on a dinning time frame. . .ate at the buffet or wife had room service.  No issues with the dinning staff or the food. Still tipped them on the last night.

We are considering a cruise on the Triumph. . .although it goes to the same ports as the Conquest out of Galveston.  Conquest goes once a month to Eastern Caribbean.  Galveston is much closer for us as for you folks too.
