Well, it's time for me to go home.  I probably won't be on again until tomorrow a.m.  It's my 11 yr. old's birthday and we're having a little party tonight.  He was only 8 lbs. 4 oz. (2 weeks early, scheduled c-section).  Lighter than his brother!  Have a great night everyone and I hope to see tomorrow that Mari is feeling much better! 

Lizz  You did your future children a favor by not having them if you don't like noise.  They are definitely noisy.  I think my are louder now than when they were young.  Our house was pretty quiet when they were kids but you ought to hear it now when they all come over with their families.  You have 20 people all trying to be heard.  It drives me nuts but I wouldn't give up one of them.  It is even better when you are older, I have the greatest family in the world, they just get noisy. LOL

I was thinking that too Marlene, I'm not familiar with vertigo from asthma, but I sure had all of those things as a kid caused by several pacific nw ear infections, that truly s..ked!  My grandma used to blow warm pipe smoke in my ears to ease the pain!  Funny, I have not thought of that in years!  She was a classy 'hoot' from MO I'll have to tell you about sometime, elegant but tougher than any man I ever met (my dad's mom), had to call her by her name (Mary) as she despised being called anything with a Grand in it!!!!!  Dad called her Mary too!

Joan ~ I just don't like kids!  lol  Personally I think those of us that chose not to have kids and add to the over population of the world should be rewarded (tax credits, etc.)  and given tax breaks...  hey, the more kids the more deductions.  Not fair in my eyes.  It annoys the living s**t out of me that I pay taxes for schools and what have you when I have never had kids in the system.

I have been told I am selfish for not having kids, but I think that is just stupid.  I know way too many people that had kids "to keep the marriage together" (HAH!) or had them because their parents wanted to be grandparents.  Even dumber reason to populate the world.  Fortunately my parents never bugged any of us in that arena, and out of 4 of us kids only 1 had kids.

We paid this cruise up front and got a good deal 9 mos out, price only went up from there, but the 'booze & cruise' is somewhat predictable.

Lizz,   I have to agree with you on the tax system in our country.  Never understood why you have to pay more when you use less.  People with no children pays twice as much for parks than people with children that use them.  Same with schools and about every thing else.
