    I Use A Cane

Does anyone know of an easy way to board the Splendor out of Long Beach that does not involve standing in line for a long time or walking great distances, also is there an alternative to steps?  Steps and my knee do not get along.  Am going on the Splendor on 11/29/09.

On past cruises we have also had to use stairs for the Muster, by the time I were to get to where I should be everyone else would be gone!!!  They would not let me use the elevator.

The Splendor is at the Long Beach  Terminal, next to the Queen Mary. It is a 2 level building that has elevators and an escalator to get to the second level. The passengers walk right on from that level with no steep inclines.

There is also a desk for physically challenged and they will assist you so you don't have to run the gauntlet.

Hi, thanks for the info.  We are spending the night before on the Queen Mary, so will just walk over slowly and hopefully it will be an easy embark.
