we never have figured out a way to delete a post.... but what you asked it a very good thing because it does happen to others and they will find the answers they will need....(only way you can do it is to really just delete what you said... but the rest of the thread would still be here.)

This might be a great time to remind people to follow up with the sale of their cars. If you don't, you could end up being responsible for any unpaid non-moving violations on the vehicle.  Even though it takes some time, go to the DMV or AAA and make sure that the registration is moved to the buyers name. Get a signed receipt of purchase, send in the paperwork with a signature required if you don't want to wait in line.  Otherwise, you are responsible.
