Mardi-Gras cruise?

I have read on another posting site that on a Feb. 21 cruise in 2009 they did a mardi-gras thing with beads and things. Could anyone tell me if it will be the same for 2010? I don't want to go without buying some beads if so, if not, don't want to bring unneccessary things. Can't find a calandar to see when Ash wed. is so not sure of date for mardi-g. in 2010. Can anyone help me???

Ash Wednesday in on 2/17/2010 so Mardi Gras is on 2/16/2010......I hope this helps.....I have never been on a cruise during Mardi Gras so I do not know what they may do to celebrate if anything....

Ash Wednesday is 2/17/2010 so that means that Mardi Gras is on 2/16/2010. I have never been on a cruise during Mardi Gras so I am not sure what they may do to celebrate, if anything. I hope this helps....
