Sunny Liston tour at St. Thomas VI

Just returned from our Caribbean cruise last week (Oct 17-24). A highlight of our stop in St. Thomas was a tour we had booked with Sunny Liston. We recommend him highly. WHO LET THE DOG OUT! WHO! WHO!

    Hey Don:

We (DW and I) are cruising on the Liberty from Nov 14 - 21 and are stopping in St-Thomas as well. We are thinking of booking the Sunny Liston Tour because we have read alot of good things about it. Our itinerary has us arriving in St-Thomas as at 9 AM, so we could only book the Tour that begins at 10 AM. Is this the one that you went on? There is a group of four of us that would be going.  Is the tour bus packed? How mnay people do they put in the same group?

    Thanks.

Yes we also booked the 10 o'clock tour. We were off the ship at 9:30 and waited for him to show at 10. He was their promply at 10 like he said he would be. He has a new truck that carrys about 15 people. They all have basically the same type of trucks. The last time we came here we had taken the Godfrey tour. He was OK also but Sunny was better, more lively. And yes they all usually fill their trucks up. We booked ours on-line before the cruise. He will make your tour enjoyable. He gets you back to the ship in plenty of time. Gives your group the option of which beach to go to for a couple of hours. We chose Coki because of my wife's research, I wanted to snorkle (bring your own snorkle and gogles) and Coki has more fish. We had bought a Canon D10 underwater camera and it took great underwater pictures. Bring a couple of boxes of cereal from the ship to feed the fish.  Sing along with him -- WHO LET THE DOG OUT? WHO WHO WHO. Have a great cruise.

    Hey Don:

Thanks for the info. We are booked with Sunny Liston, and are so looking forward to our trip. BTW, did you sample the famous Banana Daquiri at the mountain top?

My wife did the banana daquiri and I had the "bushwacker", that is another popular drink of the area. The original "mountain top" burned down since our first visit a few years back. Another spot is now being used. Great views, bring a camera.

     Hi JY

We did Sunny's tour last March break on the Glory - the highlight of our trip.  My 16 year old daughter had a great time as well.  I've recommended it to anyone I know going to St Thomas.  We also went to Coki beach and had a great time.  You don't even need to snorkel the fish are swimming all around.  This is a tour all our my family would do again in a minute.  Enjoy!

    Hey Skatermom:

Thanks for the recommendation. We cant' wait for our vacation to begin. So Coki Beach is the place to go? Apparently we have a choice of three different beaches. Magen's Bay, Coki, or Sapphire Beach? Is Coki beach very crowded?

    Thanks

Coki Beach was crowded when we were there but it was a great time - beautiful sand and water.  A true Caribbean feel and we would go back in a minute.  We did pay $15 i think for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella.  The beach guy set up up near the water and a waitress came by for food or drink orders.  We bought dog biscuits to feed the fish 6 for $2 and we ended up giving some away to families with small children who were there.  Sunny was right where he dropped us off when he said he would be and the tour is alot of fun, very high energy and very professional.
