Help with selection of Balcony Cabin please

We are considering a cabin on the 11th deck - the spa deck.  there are only a few cabins up there.  Does anyone have any recommendations/experiences to share about this deck.  I have not cruised for 5 years or so and am trying to relearn all the nuances on cabin and excursion selection.  Thank you for any help.

just traveled on the Victory in a balcony cabin -- 1046 -- right below the spa level.  I love the balcony cabins - they give extra space to relax.  Choose a port-side cabin - that way you'll be facing the land at most ports and have a great view of the different locations.

We always stay on the very back 8th floor that way you can see both sides comming into a port and leaving a port the balconys are bigger on the back also.We are on the Victory in 86 days can't wait.

We have stayed on the Spa deck on the Freedom (no balcony) and the Spa deck on the Triumph (balcony) and loved it so much we are again booked on the Spa Deck on the Freedom for February 2010. Like being up high and able to walk outside down to the Lido Deck! Enjoy!

If you want a balcony cabin, try to get one on the outside of the ship.

    Much, much easier that way.

Desperately seeking 10th cruise for the free laundry.
