i've never sailed in this category, but from what i heard and what you can find online, it looks like its just an inside upper/lower so it's just te bathroom, a closet, and then a bed, with a bed that pulls down from the wall.

    Re: Category 1A Stateroom Question

    Hi

It aint going to matter. When Carnival Fantasy sailed out of Port Canaveral it was a party boat and when the Carnival Sensation sailed out of Port Canaveral nothing has change. It is a great ship and you will not spend time in your room, cause they keep on your toes. Long as there is a shower you are great. If you remember room that means Carnival did not do their job. Have a great cruise
