    snorkling in Nassau

We booked the Catamaran Sail and Snorkle excursion in Nassau. Has anyone done this and how far do you have to go to get to the Catamaran?  Just wondered if it’s close to where the cruise ship is docked.  Also, is there a place to change into your bathing suit and out of it at the end of the excursion?  Thanks in advance.  We’re sailing on the Fascination on Nov 19th.   Darlene and Mike

I made this excursion 2 weeks ago. You will meet your group outside the ship. You will walk to the catamaran for about 10 minutes tops. Basically, the catamaran is right outside the terminal across from the market. There is only 1 bathroom in the catamaran and I doubt there is enough room in there to change. All the folks had their bathing suit on prior getting on board. If you stay outside during the way back, you will probably be dry by the time you get back. I google earth it, and the most you will walk will be 3,300 Feet or 0.63 miles. The longest walk is from the cruise ship to the terminal. The catamaran is just 950 feet from the terminal. Enjoy it.

We also did this excursion a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I do not remember changing rooms on the boat. As the previous poster said, everyone on our excursion came changed in their bathing suit. We went in December (early December) so I would plan accordingly just in case it is a little chilly outside. I have pictures of us with sweatshirts on on the boat ride out and back in from the excursion. I was really fun and I have some nice underwater pictures of the fish. A heads up in case no one told you already, you may want to buy a disposable underwater camera from Wal Mart or Target before you go. They are cheaper than on the ship and you can get some really nice under water pictures of the fish. Enjoy and Happy Cruising!!!
