We have 10 cabins and 24 people.....I have given the information to the person I booked with at Carnival, but don't  feel he is working with me. I think we clash.

Can I give seating arragements to the TA or CCL Groups or wait and try to do it when we board the ship. And I ask, what is the TA or the CCL Groups Dept   Read something on cruise talk......

You have make the request to whomever you booked with now.  You need to request all of the cabins in your group be linked and pick a dining time.  It is only a request until you board or receive confirmation from Carnival, whichever comes first.  Twenty-four people will not be seated at the same table but they will try to put all of you in the same area.  The largest seating is usually 8-10 per table.  I don't think it's possible to make an actual seating arrangement.  If you want certain people seated together then only link the cabins you want to dine at the same table.

 Hi!  You have done this correctly.  Advising your CCL rep of the large group, time and seating arrangements.  Of course the cruise line can not guarantee seating arrangements, they do their best to honour everyone's request.  Once on board the first night at sea is usually a free for all seating arrangements.  The 2nd night is when you are going to find out if the seating arrangements have been honoured.  If not, go see the Maitre D' and see if he could make a few changes to your seating arrangements.  Of course you will need to show your appreciation to him.  

Sorry to hear that you are clashing with your CCL rep.  Call your rep and reconfirm that he has requested your seating arrangements and that you understand that CCL will do their best to honour your request.

If you booked using a TA that is who you are going to have to deal with.... they are the ones that have control of your booking.  Give the info the the TA and hope they can get it done right for you....  did you book as a group or did people book by themselves with different people?????  if that is the case just make sure to link booking numbers together
