    Snorkeling on the Mexican Riviera

This question has been posted back in 08,but I'm going to ask again.

We are on the Splendor in Jan 10'. We want to go snorkeling but we have heard that the water is not near as clear as in the Caribbean and that there are strong currents to fight.

Anyone snorkeled at any of the three ports and how was it?

    Any info would be appreciated

which three ports are you talking about?  There is PV, Maz, and Cabo or Manz, Acap and Ixtapa.

We've had a wonderful time snorkeling in Cabo, but not a Lover's Beach.  try chileno bay.

The water in Cabo is not as clear as in many of the Caribbean ports, that is true, but it is still decent. Looky here:

    Fish in Cabo San Lucas

    Coral in Cabo San Lucas

As far as currents, you can have that anywhere - Cozumel is a good example of somewhere you can get in big trouble really quickly due to the currents.

I haven't been to any of the other ports yet. Last time I tried, I ended up having to go to Canada due to some flying pigs or somesuch.
