    which Atlantis excursion to do?

We will be in Nassau in Dec. and are planning on going to Atlantis for our excursion. Reading the bio on the excursion page, there are 3 different excursions going there. What can anyone tell me about them that will help us make up our minds which one to go with. Help please.

They each give you different levelsof access to the resort. If you want to enter the water park, you will have to book the Aquaventure. Sometimes they offer an Aquaventure with lunch, sometimes without. The Atlantis Beach day I believe you get access to most of the property, including the beach, just not the Water park.

There should be the tour of the dig and such which does not give you access to the beach and or pools or anything but the dig and the public areas of the hotel and casino.

There should be a beach access which gives you access to all public areas, the beach and the pools, just not the waterpark.

Aquaventure gives you access to everything.  You can go where you want when you want as long as you have this wristband (except near the rooms).

I think the option you choose really depends on what you want to do.  If you just want to walk around and check the place out, do the digg tour and as long as you don't try to go in one of the pools or waterpark you should be OK.  If you want to hang out at the pools or beach you will have to pay for that.  We went over there years ago and didn't pay for anything, we walked through the digg, bought some stuff in the gift shop in the digg and walked all around the property until a security guard asked to see our room key, we told him we didn't have one and he said we have to stay in the main building than.  So, we got to see what we wanted without spending a dime, but there are people around looking.

we will be there in december as well. my daughter and family orginally wanted to do the aquadventure but for the amount of time allowed it was just too much money. didn't want to go the "rent a room route" too much could go wrong there. so i believe they have deceided on the atlantis beach. it is now 80.00 adults/59.00 kids. that includes the ticket for food. still sorta pricey but other than the day pass at the british colonial hilton i think it will be the nicest of the lot. so many reports of negative deals on the other beaches, etc (not carnival excursions) like watch your belongings (stealing), sea weed in water, rocks in sand, rough water due to location. the plus with booking thru carnival , if weather is bad and we can't dock or go on shore you get a refund. i would be surprised if the hotel gave a refund if you didn't show up. it would be a first. she is still figuring out what beach to do in freeport.

My sister and I will be in Nassau in Dec. cruising on Dec. 6 from Port Canaveral. We have decided to do the middle class tour of the Atlantis. We do not need to do the pool or waterslides etc, but we want access to the beach. The middle one gives us the beach and a lunch for $80.00. That sounds like a good deal to us. Hope to see you there.

that is  the one my daughter will do.it should be plenty nice. the water park excursion is way too much money.  that wyndham all inclusive in freeport sure sounds nice. it is 91.00 pp it is all the food/drink you want and a nice beach. my daughter is a beach lover so they will probably do beach both places. we are going on dec. 12th (triumph) here in baton rouge it snowed last dec. 10th or 11th (cant' remember) and i had snow for 3 days on the ground.... hope we don't leave new orleans in snow this year. hope it is beach weather in the bahamas also.

    have fun..............
