Ship was beautiful, food was excellent and hot tubs were working!  Loved Canada but New England was absolutely beautiful.  We will be doing this one again. 

We just got back from Triump New England/Canada Cruise.Had a great time.The Crew was great and everything was working.This was our  second cruise to Canada,heading south next cruise with Carnival.Any ideas.

Tell me.. what were your Hi and Low of the ship.

I think the crew was outstanding.If I could find a low part of the cruise I think it was getting onto the ship in New York.I will use Carnival for my next cruise.

Glad to hear that you had a great trip and loved New England. I live in Maine and I have photographs of the Maine lighthouses if you are interested. I tried to get the Triump going by the lighthouses but it always came through before it was scheduled to dock. Next year I will get photos of her going by the lighthouses. I have the Celebrity and I have the Aida Aura going by the lighthouses. I want Carnival too since I am cruising with Carnival Dec. 6 to the Bahamas. Hopefully next year when Carnival Triump comes to Maine, the United Maine Craftsmen will be having a craft show and you can stop by. Hope to see you all next year. Love to hear from others on how they liked the area and the cruise.

 I would love to have some pictures!  Do you know the dates next year for the craft show?  We are going to plan another cruise to New England soon.  We have always gone to the caribbean.....never dreamed I would love New England so much.

I do not have dates for the craft show yet. It is still in the planning stage right now. I am going to a meeting on Tuesday to talk about it with the group leaders. Where have you been?  Can't remember if I told you but on our Sept/Holiday cruise we got an upgrade to a suite.  It was awesome and made our trip really special.  Just got back from the Triumph/Canada/New England cruise.  I never dreamed I would love the ports so much.  I fell in love with Portland.   When is your next cruise?  (danced a few minutes ago!)

Glad to hear how much you enjoyed your cruise and how much you liked Portland. I live in Maine and go to Portland all the time. Did you see the lighthouses or what did you do while here? I am looking for places in the area of the cruise ships to have a craft fair next year. Please tell me the best parts of the Portland / New England trip.

 Portland was one of the places we did not have a planned excursion.  We walked around all the quaint little shops near the pier and ate lunch at the Portland Lobster Co.  They had  a gentleman playing the guitar and singing (very well), we had great food and a beautiful view.  There were a few vendors between the Lobster Co and the ship and I saw many people shopping with them.  That would be a great location for a craft fair. I have cruised many placed in the Caribbean, but Portland is at the top of my list for one of the most beautiful places I have been!  Can't wait to come back. 

Thank you for sharing this information with me. I love to hear what people have to say about Portland and or just New England in general. I have only lived in Maine almost 3 years. I was from Massachusetts originally although I spent 12 1/2 years of my childhood in St. Petersburg Fl. Hope you come back again soon.

Tonya... So good to hear from you. Yes I saw your post about your upgrade in the HOLIDAY, if you stayed in V6 then I stayed there before. I am so glad that you enjoyed Canada, we need to talk more about that. I am on my way to New Orleans for four days and will be back on Monday. Tonya... Just back from New Orleans, the Saints have put the city on fire, I have never seen football passion of this magnitude, I had to hide my cowboy jersy and did not say anything about being part time Atlanta fan. If I got caught in the Saint stadium then that would have been it.   Any way you liked New England and Canada...what did you do in St John and Halifax will wait to hear. Missing you, have been a while... SUKU 

 I'm just a little jealous!  I absolutely love New Orleans.  Sounds like you had a good time.

The Triumph was a great cruise.  Canada was nice.  I really didn't do too much in St John...it was pouring down rain and cold.  They had a large tented shopping area and that's all I could handle.  Too cold.  In Halifax we took a whale watching excursion.  It was fun and very pretty scenery. In Boston we took the excursion to Salem and they had a huge street fair going on...had a blast there  Portland was beautiful.  I fell in love with Portland.  No excursions, just went exploring on my own.  Quaint shops, brick streets....just beautiful.  Had lunch at a little place on the water.  Ate outside with a beautiful view and live music.  Honestly it was a perfect day!  

We spent 2 nights in NYC prior to the cruise.  Went sightseeing and shopping.  2 days is about all I can take there!   Spent the night in D.C. on the way home and went to a couple of the Smithsonians. A very nice vacation. 

It has been a while.....missed talking to you.
