Has ANYONE seen,heard anything on our Dream Ship yet? If so,can you give us that information?  I have not seen anything updated. kind of frustrated

if you go to youtube.com and type in carnival dream, there are movies of the ship leaving ports, and videos of the ship as well

If you go to the Carnival home page at the bottom is online community...go to Flickr and you can see pics of her on there.  Not too many but some.  Also there is a review on cruise critic...more should be coming in.

As he promised, Zydecocruiser was on the maiden voyage Sept 21, in a cove balcony and he has posted hundreds of pictures on his web site.

Zydecocruiser just set sail on the dream yesterday.... and he will also be on the transatlantic cruise...

I went and figured out what he is doing... posting when he gets a chance from the ship... now I am going to have to check back all the time to see new pictures.

Cortney........Hi, just read your posting.  I too live in Illinois and 7 weeks ago booked myself and DD on the Dream May 15, 2010.  Where in Illinois do you live...I live in Schaumburg.  Last saturday got home from my most recent Carnival cruise.  Sailed on the Glory for the third time, it sailed October 24, 2009....great ship and great time on my cruise.  My Dream cruise will be my first as VIP status.  At least laundry for free comes with it, plus some other perks.

Just got off the Transatlantic last Thursday and had a wonderful time!  16 days at sea and only had bad weather for 2 of them!

Shows were great, but you need to get there early for good seats!  We took cards and played games while waiting!

The bars are fun.  Piano bar was great, but it is also the only smoking bar......so you have to put up with some smoke.  The wait staff here was fantastic, though.

The Wasabi (Sushi Bar) did Sushi some nights and Tapas others.  Not sure if it was because we were in Spain or not?  Nice thing was they served from 5-8 every night so there was plenty of time to take advantage.  We've been on other boats where they were only open for an hour!

We enjoyed our dining in the Scarlet dining room.  Our waiter, Tomas and his assistant Pat were fantastic.  The Maitre' D, Ken was a wonderful singer!!  He put on quite a show a few times.

I would cruise this ship again any time!

Rob..i know exactly where schaumburg is. i fly in and out of ORD all the time and my grandparents used to live in streamwood. I live in rockford illinois. I have been on the glory as well, great ship! im tyring to make my 10th carnival cruise...the dream will be #6 for me

 Cortney,  From where I live in Schaumburg, Streamwood is only 5-10 minutes drive.  Thats cooL!  Please remind me, what is your sail date on the Dream?  As you know, mine is May 15, 2010 and now its down to 179 days....yippee.  Lots more yippees as the sail date gets closer.  Are you sailing with your husband and children on your Dream cruise?  I will be with my daughter who turns 20 in February.
