This question is for anyone who HAS eaten in the supper club before. Are you able to get more than 1 entree and dessert like the dining room? 

No but I doubt anyone would want more than one entree or dessert.  They give you soooo much food that you have to be rolled out the door!  Definatly worth the 30 bucks!

We had 2 appetizers and because I only picked at my dessert they wanted to bring me another. I am not a dessert person so I usually only pick so my husband has company while he eats.

We had the porter house and that was 24 oz. We stuffed it in and ended up walking the deck an hour later after we changed.

The dress code was enforced on the spirit meaning that jeans and casual sandals were turned away. I did see someone with slacks and dress shirt let in though. He was pretty old so I  don't know if that made a difference or not.

There were two people and since we were one of the first customers, they had some time to chat with us and asked and answered questions. We did leave a tip.

We just had our first Supper Club experience last week on The Miracle. It was nothing less than INCREDIBLE!

The dress code seems to follow along with the standard dining room code: Cruise elegant on the classier nights and a little less on the relaxed nights.  We were escorted to our table and had 2 servers taking care of our every whim for the 2.5 hours we were there. As soon as we ordered they brought us "complimentary samples" from the chef. My husband has a cold tomato soup and I had a tuna tartare. It was just enough to tease the appetite. We were offered bread numerous times and they selected 3 accompaniments for the bread...butter, tomato bruscetta and an olive spread. We ordered lobster bisque...decedent! Our appetizers were presented with flair and finese. Our Caesar Salad was made tableside, traditionally. Our entrees were done TO PERFECTION and dessert was just the right size to enjoy but not push us over the edge. We did not order the potato/side dish; we decided the extra starch was not needed! Our drinks were refilled just as soon as they disappeared and what struck us as the epitome of politeness was the servers did NOTHING without asking permission first! "May I take your plate"? "May I present your bill now?".   We were not rushed nor were we made to feel anything but welcomed and wanted for those 2.5 hours.

To answer the question of ordering more than one of something...I do not know if you can or even if you should. There will be more than enough served to you as standard fare. I do feel confident in telling you the staff is SO ACCOMMODATING...if you ask, I am sure they will do whatever they can to make your dining an event to remember.

The bill was $30 a person and there is a slot for tipping. The experience is worth about 10 times what the charge is. When you have this dining adventure, you will remember every moment and cherish each bite!!!

Hi All,   Will be on the Splendor 11/29.   Have reservations for 1 night  at the Supper Club.  I know that you tip them separately, however is the $30 per person put on your S&S card or is it paid separate?

The $30 pp charge for dinner is placed on your S&S card.  I believe you can also add the tip on that also but I tend to give them a cash tip.  Enjoy, we have booked for 2 nights on our 11/23 Dream cruise.

Is it possible to pay for supper club before you go on the cruise?

We couldn't. Maybe you could buy the carnival dollars or place a certain amount of cash on your account when you get out to sea if you are trying to prepay for things.

You can only submit a reservation request online.  You will receive your confirmation onboard the ship. The fee is charged to your S&S account at the time of your meal.  We tip the waitstaff in cash.

Yes, you get your "official" invitation on your bed. They even have stamped on the card the dress code. Shame they have to reinforce it that way. Takes away from the invitation. We tipped on the sail and sign card.

We got a telephone confirmation in our cabin. The tip is part of the $30 charge for the Steak House. You can always tip in cash or S&S if you wish.  The service is superb and extremely knowledgeable. For Foodies, it is almost like getting a personal tutor from Food Network.  We bought the butter dish and salt and pepper "thing" from Formalities.

When we were finished, the server asked permission to bring the bill. The charge was $30 per person. There is a space to add a gratuity. They earn it, over and over again!

I doubt anyone would have room for more then 1 entree...they give you a huge portion, plus appetizer, soup, salad, and dessert, plus they bring you little samples of different things throughout the meal.  

 The Lobster Bisque is incredibly indescribably delicious, and we are booked for November 27 at the supper club on the Freedom!!!!

This is supposed to be the case yet no one has been able to find out how much of that $30 the server actually gets so I think in general, if you are happy with the service everyone should tip extra.
