We have some extra beads if needed. We have been to Daytona Beach Bike Week,and Thunder Beach Panama City Beach Fl. numerous times.We would like to make it to Sturgis for a day or two of that rally.We ride a 99 Road King custom cobalt blue with ghost flames we are fair weather riders so we don't ride as much as we would like.I ride it to work more than anything.

I have not had a Marlboro Light since July 2005 but I do smoke a cigar every week or two nothing regular but usually when I am unwinding with my Mason jar containing my favorite drink CC&Diet Coke,so I guess I'm not a conisieur of fine cigars but rather just a good ole boy.If you don't smoke all the better for you if you are at all apprehensive about puffing on a cigar don't do it I assure you I will be out in the open wind when I fire up me being an ex smoker I know it is offensive to non smokers.Two more weeks and we get to meet everyone I hope it turns out to be as much fun as I think it is.

What part of the country you from?  Me, my riding season (Michigan) is coming to a close but, I still have her on the road.  Wife and I just did a fall color ride last week.  Coldest I've ridden to date this fall... 33.8 degrees.  I'm hoping to be able to ride up until the day before we get on the plane.  Regarding the smoking, I am not offended by smokers (as I was one for 30+ years) and I still enjoy... even envy the smell of a good cigar.

We are from LA (Lower Alabama) not that cold here yet but we have been having a lot of rain we have had too many near misses in the rain so we avoid riding in it when possible.I don't think I would ride in 40 degree weather anyway being from Al. we don't do cold that well.My being a truck driver I used to go all over, one company I was with loved sending me to Canada and up north in the winter they were good paying trips but I could not get them in the summer when it was decent driving weather.

Hello, my husband and I are going on this cruise as well! It is our 2nd Carnival cruise and we are super excited! We last sailed upon the Freedom.

Hi Amy, We will be sailing on the Legend also Nov 8-15. Very excited! Our friends are the Anniversary couple and that is quite a special occasion to celebrate! They are such an awesome couple!

 We just recently visited Cozumel in August. We went to the beach just past Paradise Beach. The name escapes me at the moment, but we had a great day! The water was warm and delightul! I'm sure you'll have a great day!

Hi Badnuze!

I, Patty, and my husband Bob will also be travelling on the Legend on the 8th of Nov. I have been reading the post here and it sounds like it might be a fun cruise! This is our 4th cruise, 2nd on Carnival. However, it is the first time we have travelled without our daughter and son-son-inlaw who really are the more seasoned travellers.

We are kind of excited about this trip and like the idea of meeting others and using this forum to get sort of pre-aquainted! I notice that you suggest going to Cruise Critic. I did that and registered, but am having a bit of a time finding the posts for this cruise. If you could guide me to them I'd be most grateful!

Our friends are also travelling on the sailing, they are reason for this celebration! I hope you don't mind if we tag alot to the m/g after the muster!

Where are you from?  I think your friends are the ones from Michigan...?...we are from Ohio!  We are taking our two girls on this trip...8 and 10 and we are gettting very excited also!  If you want to catch up on cc then go to the website and go under roll calls and put in November 8, 2009 for the Legend.  There are alot of people that you can meet there!  I hope there are some kids that are gonna be on the ship.  Our kids are only missing 3 days of school so we thought this would be a good time to take them...plus the price was right!!!

I'm so excited about this M/G it promises to be the largest yet for us on the other board we have people getting married ,honeymooners ,and like anniversarycruiser anniversaries. we also are having friends along and just this week we talked Lori's mom and dad into coming along.So please feel more than welcome to participate in the M/G I think most of us will be wearing Mardi-Gras beads to kind of identify roll callers so again welcome aboard

 We are from Monroe, MI.

 I would be quite surprised if there weren't many other kids on board. Generally, these ships have good onboard activities for the varied ages and the child ren love it. I've heard kids ask their parent if they had to on shore because they wanted to stay in the activities area! LOL

 Hi ya Bubba! Are you the one who originated this m/g?I'm excited also! This will be a first for us in terms of m/g. We usually travel with our daughter, s-i-l, and his parents. We got our wings on this cruise and are flying solo to celebrate the anniversary of an amazing couple!

I wish we were going to have more time in Tampa, but we are flying in on the 8th and out on the 15th! So, about all I am going to see is the route to and from the airport! :) I do appreciate that tip tough!

I've never posted on here before so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Anyway, I'm Robin & my husband Jim & I are booked on the Nov 8 sailing of the Legend as well. We are repeating our Honeymoon from 2007. From the posts I've read here, this sounds like its going to be alot of fun with a great crowd. 

We live in Tampa but are originally from Michigan & Brooklyn NY. Looking forward to meeting many of you.

Hi again I don't recall who started it (the M/G) but usually someone tries to get one together and like I said in the past they have been more fizzle than flash. For me its a chance to meet in person the folks I have been talking to.

We cruise every chance we get its a reasonably economical way for us to vacation.

You obviously have it right.  Welcome to the board.  Congratulations on your 2nd Anniversary, hope this celebration is as special as the first.  Hope you will grab some M/G beads and join us at the back of the boat ( specifically the aft lounge on the Lido deck) after the Muster Drill.  I hope that the location is accurate... Bubba (badnuze) has been huge in organizing this party on this and the sister post on Cruise Critic.  Am truly hoping that this turns out to be a huge "flash" rather than a "fizzle".  I guarantee that we'll be there though and whoever else shows will have a great time.  You mentioned that you once lived in Michigan, what part?  We are from Southeastern Michigan.

Hi, I'm Jim & I'm from Detroit-Warren, Robin my wife is from Brooklyn NY. My family is from metro Detroit Area.. Used to go to Joe Louis all the time to see the Red Wings. Really looking forward to the cruise T- 9 days & counting backwards! We are doing the My-Time dining, and this is our second trip on the Legend. What A Great ship it is!
