Me and my wife will be taking a little break this year to energize for Christmas. We plan to make this a yearly thing where we take a cruise in December and end the year on a good not. Any veteran or new cruisers sailing on this trip ? 

Three of my friends and I will be on this cruise. First time cruise for two of us.

 If all goes well we plan to make this a yearly occasion. Ive searched the threads and there is alot of different of experiences most seem overally positive. However they are post that relate to different ships at different ports. We are generally positive and optimistic but was wondering can you shed a little light on what to expect on this particular cruise. We have a room with abalcony and have been on cloud 9 ever since the booking.

I am a newbie myself so I too am excited and not sure what to expect. We currently have a stateroom midship with a window. Tonight we have requested a balcony room that is at the back of the ship. We will hopefully get it. Do you know what floor your room will be on and if you will be front, mid or back of the ship? I think our ship has been in port getting upgrades. 

update: we now have a balcony room ... yippppppeeeeee

 We are located on the Upper Deck Back.

     At first glance we were like what ? What do you mean our rooms is close to the back of the ship ? Then after looking at the picture of the renovated ship we realized most of the balcony rooms are on the back section and its actually a prefeered location.

More privacy was the biggest reason Ive heard. We plan to order room service and enjoy breakfast while watching the sun rise when ever we can.

Well we might be neighbors! We are on the Upper Deck - back....balcony room. I doubt I will be up for sunrise but my roommate probably will. I am a late to bed late to rise. She is quite the opposite...haha.....should be interesting. See ya onboard!!!!!
