I'm taking the Carnival Freedom on February 27 and I still can't find a deal on flights....when should I start booking my flight and get a deal in the same time without being too late to fill out all the paperwork for the cruise???

I didn't book thru Carnival so for my flight and Hotel I'll probably book with Expedia...As far as the Hotel I might book with the Holiday Inn conv. centre. I'll be in Fort Lauderdale 2 days before so I can take advantage of the shopping cause I'm sure in Halifax the summer clothes won't be out yet at that time....So I guess for the flight I'll keep trying everyday for deals....see you on board!!!!

Try airtran.com they seem to  have some good prices.

LOL.....Yea, I checked them also but the way there is cheap which is good but the way back is triple the price....

If you are staying in Fort Lauderdale, Spring Hill Suites (Dania Beach) by Marriott provides transportation to/from airport and cruiseport so you don't need to rent a car if that works for you.  You can walk to fast food restaurants and a Marshalls and Kmart.  Didn't know if you needed hotel suggestions or not.  LMP

 I don't know if you like Air Tran Airways but they have some good prices going right now. I booked last month with them and got flights under a hundred dollars per person each way.

Hey Manon, and Sherry, I'm going on the Freedom in April and will be leaving from Maine to Fort Lauderdale and I can't find anything for less then 400.00 and that is out of Portland, forget about Bangor, that is 500.00 or more! I"m hoping we'll get a good deal between now and December. Good luck on finding something! If it didnt' take so long to drive it would be cheaper to drive.
