Yah that was the case for us last year and we shuttled into Miami from Fort Lauderdale but got lucky this year the cost was the same so Miami is where we are flying in to!!  I want the shore excursions to come up I hate waiting????  I am a planner and this is not allowing me to plan but I guess it keeps me checking and wow  73 more days to go pretty soon it will be 69   YAH!!!!!!  Can you tel that I am excited!

 Whats with not being able to book excursions I have been trying for over 2 weeks and when I call they say every time in a few days ugh!  Anyone else been trying?

The last time I spoke with a Carnival rep, they told me the shore excursions would be available anywhere from 30-90 days out.  Boy...............that pretty much covers them for a while, huh?

oh for sure,that is covering it all right oh well I guess checking it every day gives me something to do...lol  Keeps the excitment rolling.  So I hear from reading on the posts the glory is going in to dry dock sometime after we sail to bad it was not before that would of been awesome to see the outdoor theatre!     Does anyone know?  We are staying at the Holiday Inn POM and if there is shuttle service to the ship The last time we went out of Miami we stayed South Beach so not familiar with the area we are staying in this time  must do some research.  Mind you we will only be there 1/2 a day......Thanks

A bunch of the people from the Cruise Critic web site are staying at the Holiday Inn as well.  You might want to check that site and ask around.

Yah for sure I just booked for Belize as for Cozueml I plan on shopping a wandering around...lol

Welcome back Gino, I hope you are doing well.  I'll be praying for a full and speedy recovery for you.   We are still planning on cave tubing in Belize through Major Tom, and island tour with beach and shopping through Victor Bodden in Roatan (and a visit to the monkeys, of course!).  Let me know if you are still up for the Roatan tour and I will add you on our tour - there are three of you, correct?

 Our price at Holiday Inn POM wasnt bad - $110 / night through Priceline and we are squeezing 4 adults in each room (it's only 1 night, right?).  We are flying into FLL as its cheaper, and using SAS transportation for shuttle from FLL to hotel (just $13 pp).

In Cozumel we are going to Paradise Beach and in Grand Cayman hitting Seven Mile Beach - we did the Rays, Reefs and RumPoint beach tour through Nativeways a few years back and I highly reccommend that tour if you want to see the stingrays in Grand Cayman.    

Do you think the $1900 pp Cozumel tour is a typo?  Pretty steep for a few hours with the dolphins.   Maybe you get to take a dolphin home with you??

hi cheryl, we are still in for the roatan tour and there are 3 of us, that sounds like a nice and easy tour, i dont know how i will be feeling so i will have to take it easy and just take sightseeing tours, right now the leukemia and the kemo and bone marrow test has me kinda week but i still feel good. my doctor says i can go on the cruise but  if anything changes i will let you know,    gino

Why who could you possible be speaking of Cheryl, when you say 25 days for one of us?   Yeah..................you bet I'm pretty excited!  I'll finish my cruise on the Splendor and have about 30 days before we do this cruise on the Glory.  And then..............stay onboard for another week to the Eastern Caribbean!!

No need for an apology Happy.  It's just good to have you here and joining us for this thread and the cruise!

60 days for us now!  Its going fast...got another price reduction last night (although they raised the price back up this morning - hope they honor my price claim ).

I can't believe only 57 days (56 days some odd hours) not that anyones counting. lol

Does anyone have any ideas on excursions for Cruise? I need ideas for Roatan, Belize, and Grand Cayman.

I booked swimming with the Dolphins in Cozumel through dolphindiscovery.com. Which by the way was appox. the same price as the one being offered by Carnival but you get more activities with two dolphins. That includes transportation to and from and the beach.

CZimm were are going to be nieghbors. I'm in 8304.
