A.C, why arent you joining us at Holiday Inn POM? 

We haven't made our reservations yet and since my brother is driving I was going to let him select the hotel.  I'll have to see if he's up for a stay at the Holiday Inn.

Hey..............what's going on?  We're under a 100 days and no one is in here posting??

I know, its so quiet here! It seems like the boat is filling up, so where is everybody??? 

 I have never cruised in January.  My friend cruised Western last year, the same week as us, and it rained the whole week.  She couldn't even enjoy her balcony.  I know that's not going to happen to us, right?  right?     (She still had a great time of course!).  I am scared of what my bar bill might be if it rains all week!

95 days! Woo-hoo!

I know what you mean about the bar bill.  I'm always careful not to run it up too much.

I've done the western Caribbean 3 times before this.  Once in January, once in February and once in April.  I was lucky all 3 times with great weather.  I hope this time will be the same!!  Otherwise my balcony might be a waste too.

I think most of the other people must be sticking with the cruise critic web site, huh?

Well we just book a couple of weeks ago looking forward to trying carnival have been on Royal and NCL...lookin froward to the experience... Someone above mentioned rain god I hope not !!!  Welcome all

welcome Michelle!  Glad to see some more people are joining us! I have only cruised Carnival and every cruise has been great - I'm sure you'll love it too

I know that was a pretty lame joke, but was it bad enought to scare everyone away?  Lol!!  Where are we now??  81 days??  I'm way too excited about my cruise on the Splendor in 39 days to keep track of all these dates.  And we're doing back to back crusies on the Glory!!

Thanks for the welcomes all.. Weather in Alberta right now not bad seasonal no snow but by the time we are ready to cruise I am sure I won't be sad to depart to Miami and leave the cold and snow behind...LOL

 Whats with not being able to book excursions I have been trying for over 2 weeks and when I call they say every time in a few days ugh!  Anyone else been trying?

Our group is doing private excursions on Belize and Roatan, and just beach days for Cozumel (Paradise Beach) and Grand Cayman (Seven Mile Beach).  I have been checking the Carnival excursions - there were a whole bunch listed before the itinerary change (before 90 days so we couldnt book them yet), and now there is only golf!  Hopefully they wlll post them soon.   

We did have snow here in Buffalo last week, but it didnt stick.  I know come January 9th we will be more than ready to head South for some Sun! 

77 days!  For some of us! 

Just booked our flights and we to will be staying at the Holiday Inn at POM... The only bad thing is will be a late supper as the best flight we could get does not arrive into Miami until 05:00pm.....Ugh wanted to at least have a day in Miami ...but thats okay we spent 4 days in Miami last year when we went on our cruise!   I am so excited I can not wait!   .........

We are staying at Holiday Inn POM too!   Our flight arrives in FLL at 4:30, so not much time to see MIami either.  We will probably head to Bayside Marketplace for a late dinner and drinks.
