I'm doing the sting ray city in oct and I'm scared to go because don't the sting rays have barbs on the end of it tail ? please help scared of the sting rays.  I know it's a stupid question but had to ask so I could calm my nerves.

Yes, the stingrays have barbs just like the ones that killed the crazy Aussie.

However, these stingrays are so used to people they come to each boat as it pulls in. they know they will be fed lots of squid. Yummy!

The guides will instruct on how to pet them and they will hold them for pictures. It's lots of fun. Just follow directions. Shuffle your feet and don't let anyone smear squid juice on you or you will get a big hickey from a stingray.

I did this last year and it was a blast. I was worried at first,I loved it.

GO!!!  You will have a blast!  Like Ginger said, just shuffle your feet when you walk around.  They're like a cat rubbing up against you when they swim by!!
