Kirk:
Hi Sue,
Has your Son been on Cruise's before? My Son turns 18 in 2 weeks. So he will be 18 on the cruise and just wondering if they will still let him hang in the older kids club if he even wants to? and what he will be doing? My little guy 8 turns 9 two days after we get back should have a great time in the kids club. My Daughter 14 turns 15 in Jan Well who knows what she will want to do LOL
( I give up on teenage girls) Just looking for your thoughts since this is our first cruise
Thanks
Kirk
Hi Kirk,
I took him last year in October for his 16th birthday (he had been left behind the two other cruises), he had a blast, and needless to say we won't be able to leave him behind anymore. He was always in the Club O2 (for the older teens), and I was sitting all alone......... not so fun on my side LOL. He turns 17 on this Friday.
From everything I have read on these forums, your son will not be able to hang out in O2. I asked my son and he told me how they challenged someone last year trying to sign up as they had just turned 18 as well. So he will have to find alternative FUN. Not to worry even though he is 18 and considered an adult he will still not be served in the bar and the casino is iffy.
Sorry about the teenage girl thing ya got going on there, I can actually say I was blessed with all boys (oldest is active duty Navy and will turn 27 in December, middle son is Medically retired from the Army, moved home here a year ago and just recently moved back to Connecticut to start school in January, he just turned 24 this month, and the youngest is like I said turning 17 on Friday).
I am just getting soooooo excited, had a slight setback the other day (as in not sure if hubs is making the cruise) so still praying that things are going to work themselves out just fine.
Sue
