Hi..May I suggest the Sharaton casino and conventtion resort..Its only 10 min from the airport and 15 min to the port..Has a nice pool and is opening up next month

The Hilton is always a good bet!!  It's called the Caribe Hilton.  I stayed there last year and was really happy with it!  Cool bar, nice location on the water.  The food was decent too.  Good luck!

Thanx for the tip cause I was also looking at the Howard Johnson myself even tho my cruise is in May I like to be prepare.. plus howard johnson in right smack by the shopping area.. lol

what is the self-service option?  we're on this cruise starting 10/11 and have a 12:35 pm flight out on the 18th. 

You don't put your bags out the night before.  Instead, you get off the ship with all of your luggage with you.  I did this once in a similar situation with an early flight.  I made it to the airport with a huge amount of time to spare!  Had I known that, I would have stayed on board for breakfast!

We're on the Victory on Jan 31st too. We are staying at Marriott  Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort by the airport,on the beach on Jan.30th. We're going to taxi it to Old San Juan when we get there and explore.  We are also going to check in early on the 31st and use the rest of the time to explore until we need to be back on board.

 Has anyone stayed at this hotel?

The Best Western at the airport has rooms for $115 a night with free breakfast.  We are staying here as we arrive late on Friday night and then sail on Sunday.  We will probably rent a car and go the rain forest for the day on Saturday.

WE are also sailing on the 31st can't wait. It's our honeymoon!
