KarKar:Does anyone know how I can get a carnival coupon book? The book has like 18 coupons in it. A few are buy 3 bottles of wine get 1 free and pay for 1 tournament get 1 free. I know travel agents have them but the people I booked thru dont have them. I am desperate i leave in 3 1/2 weeks.
OK, I just looked on eBay and saw two people having them listed, one for $30 and another currently for $3. Here's the coupons they listed, and some comments from me:
- Preorder 4 bottles of wine & receive the 5th bottle free - Not a deal, this is the wine package that they offer to anyone!
- Receive 15% discount on a set of etched flute glasses with the purchase of any sparkling wine - OK if you are interested.
- Buy one bottle of wine and receive 10% off a 2nd bottle - This is actually a deal. If it is not limited to specific bottles, you could save a good chunk of change.
- 10% discount on any memory box from the formalities shop - OK if you are interested.
- Receive a complimentary
plate of Chocolate Delights with the purchase of a $45 or higher bottle
of champagne for stateroom delivery - OK if you are interested. Saves you about $10.
- Receive a free Carnival hurricane souvenir glass with the purchase of any frozen drink - Um, don't they do this automatically anyway???
- Receive an Ultra Premium "Ketel One" martini for the price of a regular martini - OK if you are interested. Saves a couple of dollars.
- Receive One complimentary $5 "free-play " chip - If you want to gamble... though it probably has some limitations.
- Purchase an entry into any Ocean Players club tournament and receive a 2nd tournament entry free - OK if you are interested. You might be able to find this online if you sign up on the OCP website.
- Receive a Grande coffee for the price of a Tall coffee - Save a buck.
- Receive a 15% discount towards the purchase of a "Towel Creations with Freddy" book - Save a bit over a buck.
- Receive 20% off Le Therapie Hyrdralift Facial or Elemis Stone Therapy while ship is in port - This is a standard discount on certain port days.
- Choose either Ionithermie or Aromaspa Ocean Wrap for $99 while ship is in port - This is a standard discount on certain port days.
- Print your own film or media on board and receive a free 2nd set of prints - This could be a big savings if you choose to print on board and want doubles. As I remember it's $0.29 per print.
- Receive 10 minutes free with the purchase of time plan #1 or 5 minutes free with purchase of time plan #2 for internet on board - This is a standard discount and is actually not as good as some daily specials they offer onboard.
- Purchase any photo and receive a free 5 X 7 photo of the ship or ship's interior - Worth about $6.
So, if you took advantage of all the "real" coupons, you can save somewhere between $15 and perhaps $60 (assuming you can buy a really expensive second bottle of wine at 10% off and a lot of print-your-own photos).
