    Store Hours in the Caribbean

Does anyone know the store hours in Caribbean stores?  I have an excursion booked for a Sunday afternoon in Nassau and was wondering if they open jewelry stores on Sunday mornings.

Nothing is open in Nassau on Sunday morning.

A few bars/restaurants may open as early as 10:30 or 11.  The canvas-covered flea market open at 10, I believe, but everything else is either closed or not open until noon or 1.

A Sunday stop in Nassau -- especially with the 8am-2pm times we were there -- is a complete waste of time.

Since we have an afternoon sail and snorkel excursion booked for a catamarin that about wraps up our shopping plans.  I'll shop onboard the ship.  I was looking for a good everyday watch for myself and some cologne.  The wife will probably want a piece of jewelry to remember this cruise by and it's our anniversary which kind of calls for some shopping.  Wink
