I just booked the 7 day cruise leaving Oct 23, this is my sisters birthday and I'm taking her with me and my husband, I could not pass up a week cruise for this price, It will be my sisters first cruise and our second,, cant wait

 I'm leaving out Jan. 16th....It'a birthday cruise for both me and my bestie!!!!   First one for each.!!!

BREAKING NEWS!!!  It will now be the Elation out of Mobile!!!  How exciting!! New ship for me as I have already been on the Fantasy.  There is also a adult only area with hot tubs!!  My parents are going on Oct. 23 with us following them on the 30.  Going to be a awesome seven day trip!

 Starting in May 2010, you will be sailing on the ELATION instead of the Fantasy.  Annoucement made today.  Your reservation will tranfer over to the Elation.

The same rooms will be held for you.  The Elation didnt have any rooms booked on her for that time frame so there will not be any conflicting bookings.  The only problem would be if you had the connecting rooms as the Elation does not have these.

My hubby and I will be celebrating our 26th Anniversary!  I'm so excited it will be my 3rd cruise and my hubby's 2nd.

We were, but have cancelled those plans since Fantasy will not be there when we were going.

I am sorry to  hear that you are canceling your cruise. I am thinking of booking for my birthday for the 25th cruise. We celibrated my hubby b-day on the Sensation this past September and had a great time. I never thought he would get hooked but he did. Thanks Carnival, we can get at least 3 a year, if the ports are correct. Lisa

The reason I say make sure you still have a room is, the day of the notification of the Elation replacing the Fantasy I called my pvp and was also told everything would tranfer to that ship and there would be no worries.  And with that I felt confident that everything was ok.  Later on that night,checking the website, as I do almost everyday and noticed that my cabin, that I had booked on the Fantasy, that was told that would transfer to Elation with no problem was available to be booked by anyone on the website or a direct call to carnival.  I dropped everything at work and was on the phone.  When I told my pvp of this you could hear a pin drop and all she could say was "you are kidding me" and "On Carnival site".  After a few minutes on hold I was in cnf call with her and two other supervisors.  And within a few minutes was told everthing was corrected and for me to start over through the site and see if it had been fixed, per their booking computor was showing I was booked into that cabin, but for some reason on a new booking screen the cabin was available.  Needless to say it was fixed and per conversations I was assured that I have the room.  So in ending, if you were told this double and triple check to make sure you have the rooms that you have booked.  Not complaining, just a heads up for everyone booked on Fantasy that will now be on the Elation.  I thank everyone at Carnival who helped in my situation, Thanks Joey Hernandez your the best!!
